  1. Oh ok. Well thanks so much for the help!
  2. Wow, that's good to know, thanks so much for responding! Just for future reference though, would it be better to go back to my old zinc? Is that a better kind for acne than just zinc gluconate?
  3. I'm on the regimen so i'm not sure how much help I'll be with your routine, however using SA and BP at the same time can work for some but is generally very harsh, and 10% bp is just as effective as the 2.5% but way more irritating
  4. I switched from a zinc gluconate/citrate/picolinate mix to just gluconate. The mix one I was using is very natural, while the one I switched to was a wal-mart brand. I got these zits, now that I mention it, right after I started the other ones. Could it affect me that quickly though?
  5. I have the same ocd problem, and it's really terrible. While I wish it was possible to get rid of zits quickly but it's generally not. Whatever you do don't pick at your skin, and use ice to help with redness and inflammation. Besides that...just give it time and try not to stress. Best of luck!
  6. There are a lot more ingredients in the zinc i just started taking compared to the natural brand i was using before, maybe that could be it? Thanks so much for the tips, i'll definitely try aha!
  7. Nope! I have been eating a bit more sugar lately if that could affect it, but they came on so suddenly that i'm not sure what it could be....I switched to a super cheap zinc pill, could that affect anything? Also, lately it seems like my forehead has a lot more tiny under the skin bumps than usual, anyone else experience that on the regimen?
  8. I've been on the regimen for a little over three months. two days ago my forehead, which does have a lot of small skin colored bumps, got five or six inflamed painful zits and I think they're still coming...why could this be happening all of a sudden? I've for the most part stopped breaking out in big zits on my forehead, and i don't pop or pick at my forehead anymore. I don't know what to do. Help please?
  9. Thanks for the responses. I'm having so much trouble stopping the picking cycle, because it's hard to judge how the regimen is working for me when i'm constantly creating horrible scabs and new red marks.
  10. The derm put my brother on a 5% BP gel for morning and tretinoin at night, so I know it's possible to combine the two. However, it's probably best to talk to your derm about it, because everybodys skin is different and his is not sensitive at all.
  11. I have been on the regimen for a few months and have cleared a lot, but I still get inflamed zits regularly. I know on the regimen I can still be breaking out a bit, but i'm also a skin picker. My acne would not be bad and neither would my red marks if I didn't pick. Could I still be breaking out this far into the regimen because of my skin picking? Also, do red marks stay longer for anyone on the regimen? Because mine seem to be so much worse.
  12. Neosporin at night! It's helped me tremendously after picking. But also, just leave them alone during the day so you don't get in the way of the healing process
  13. Is it ok (and effective!) to use a bp face wash and then an aha lotion?
  14. So I have cysts and zits that never come to a head on my right cheek. My left cheek is relatively clear of cysts. The acne on my right cheek never ever leaves and i'm wondering why it's in this particular spot? Thanks for your help!
  15. I feel like all makeup breaks me out, I hate wearing it but I feel self conscious if I don't. What makeup are you currently using?
