Thank you! Sometimes I do feel really depress and that worries me, but I think it's because I keep looking in the mirror or thinking about how much pain I'm going through. I am trying to eat more vegetables and drink more water so I do hope I recieve good result. I'm really glad it worked out for you. I can't believe you were on such a low dose Sorry, I haven't been updating my progress... I'm trying to think less about my treatment so I decided to stop coming here for a couple of days. I'm in

SUPER CONGRATS on getting into USC!!!

Update: Nothing new to report. Still having persistent little break outs here and there. Anyways, I was reading a lot of the accutane logs and people are suggesting that it's better to be on a higher dose to avoid relapse. I only weigh around 95-97lb and the derm says I shouldn't go any higher than 40mg, but I really do not want to have a relapse! Do you guys think I should request for a higher dose? Is it okay to go over the cumulative 120-150 mg/kg guide? My first month was 20mg, cur

Starting Accutane Male/18 150 (Crazy Ib Story)
lnymphl replied to ghillieman24's topic in Accutane (isotretinoin) logs
This is really good news Now you can relax and enjoy the rest of the course. I hope mine continues to improve as well. Still having mix signals with my course =( -
It would probably be easier if you ask your current doc/derm to recommend you a derm that is near your school. So you don't have to travel back and fourth to get blood tests and such. Good luck with accutane+college!

"mature" Black Woman On Accutane
lnymphl replied to LuvMyFace's topic in Accutane (isotretinoin) logs
I would suggest trying Macadamia's Deep Repair Masque for your hair. Try leaving it on for an hour or even more. For everyday conditioner, I love costco's kirkland's conditioner. -

WOOOOWWOOOWW That is so traumatizing! You are definitely a survivor of (hopefully) the last of the IB!!! Keep at it. I really do believe the crazy IB would stop after the first month, but I'm sure there's gonna be a few minor IB, but nothing serious since your skin is in the process of drying--very good sign! And kudos for even going to class. I would have taken a break from school. -
that's really good advice, thank you! I'll try doing that Wow you're at 80mg now?! I'm so excited for you! I'm still at 40mg so there is no major dryness. Update: 40mg/day. 2nd month, 18th day. Breaks out calmed down, but new ones are developing, but not as bad. One new cyst formed. I haven't gotten any dryer, but just normal and a bit oily. My nose was pretty flakey, but now it's back to normal. I've been getting nosebleeds, but it isn't too bad. My face is still very red and angry. edit: I fo

I didn't know that. I guess people who never experience real acne problems tend to dismiss it. It's just really unfair. Update: 40mg/day 2nd month, 12th day. New break outs: painful cysts or something. It just hurts a lot and it made me really depress. I can tell that they're drying up, but the painful reminder just sucks. I couldn't sleep well one night because of the pain. Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks and making it a lot painful than it is, but I have never experienced this before.

That's really scary. I should be excited when my monthly friend visits then

Accutane Diary Of A Lovesick 25M

You are so close!!! Gosh, I can't even count ALL the potentials and actives. Keep at it This is very exciting. I hope everything will be smooth sailing for you. -
Yea, I'm experiencing the same thing. I wonder if we're gonna experience dryness by the end of this month. Update: 2nd month, 40mg a day. 4th day. My hyperpigmentation is less red by like 5%, but still a tomato red face. Been experiencing bleeding nose, but it dries out quickly. I think I'm slowly breaking out again especially in the same area as where my active/healing cyst are. Blackheads are a lot less now. I've been picking and that makes things a lot worst. I know, I know...I need to stop p

Yea, I just started on 40mg yesterday. Now let's see if we're gonna experience this "excessive drying" thing people speak of lol

Probably not for much longer...You'll probably start noticing some changes soon. Have you noticed that your hair does not get greasy anymore? I can go at least 4 days without washing it. I haven't tried going any longer than 4 days, but I'm sure I could. You know, my hair is less greasy now. I wash my hair everyday because if I don't it'll be super oily the next day. I've only tested not washing my hair for one day and the next day it wasn't as oily. Update: 31th day. 40mg today. My dose got
