  1. Good morning all, I have recently started wearing foundation. I am curious if putting on liquid foundation right after I apply benzoyl peroxide cream will decrease the effectiveness of the BP. Should I wait 10 or 15 minutes after applying the BP to put on my foundation? Thanks guys

  3. I also wanted to add that you could also do a drop of natural vanilla or stevia if it's not sweet enough for you. Personally, the natural sugar in the PB is enough for me. I would also recommend using the Smart Balance Omega 3 and not the Planters version which contains hydrogenated oil. The SB pb is all natural.   4. Hey guys I just wanted to share this. I know it's difficult and time consuming to find good things to eat that are good for your skin and won't cause the blood sugar spikes that cause acne.   5. I think I am going to go with some loose powder from Maybelline. Its called Maybelline New York Shine Free Oil-Control Loose Powder, Light 210. Or perhaps something by Physcian's formula. What do you all think about this?
  6. Recently I heard about this. I was wondering if anyone's tried it and if it works or not. I am going to school to be a nurse and will be working long shifts, up to 12 hours... My skin is mostly clear, although it tends to get extremely oily throughout the day. My usual routine is wash face when I get up around 9:00 then again again around 5 when I shower and at 6 I put on my tretinoin cream. Then don't wash again until morning. Help is much appreciated
  7. I've been looking into cooking oils lately and I want to make the right decision with which one to cook with. I use EVOO on salads and over cooked veggies but do not use it to cook with. Mostly I cook with coconut oil and butter. I've been thinking about cooking with canola because I a wary of the saturated fat in the coconut and butter.   10. I often find myself having to dole out excuses in response to others' questions about why I'm not having the pie for dessert, skipped the mashed potatoes, or refused the free doughnut.   11. Just found out that we'll be going to my aunt's house for Thanksgiving. I'm almost certain my healthy (but odd to them) eating habits will be a big topic of discussion thanks to mom.Thoughts on getting through this?   13. Hi Chris, with insurance it was a 40 dollar copay (10 bucks a tooth ) I'm not sure what type of insurance we do have as we've been switiching alot lately. I agree I think there is nothing good about gluten in the first place although I do have barley occasionally and whole wheat pasta both of which is less frequent than my other carb sources.   22. Or no? I've researched that garlic is a natural antibiotic and that it doesn't kill good bacteria and that you can't become immune to it so it seems to be the way to go? I'm trying to cut back on my antibiotics (as I've been on various ones for over 2 years) and this is really bad lol Do you think this would help to kill P acnes therefore avoiding the inevitable breakout that comes when stopping antibiotics?
