  1. I use purpose gentle cleansing wash (liquid) and it works amazingly. Doesn't dry out my skin and cleans it very nicely. The bar is drying for my skin, so I wouldn't get the bar. But the liquid works really well and I've re-purchased over and over and over again. cetaphil felt like there was a film on my face and it broke me out.
  2. Day 4 two new pimples. no fun ):
  3. really well. You got the 3 oz for $14!? oh my goodness. Get the cream in the tub, 16 oz for $16. Better deal. I really like the cream. Very moisturizing and hydrating- leaves my skin soft. Keep in mind, it works better if you're skin is exfoliated. If you just glob it on top of flaky skin, it doesn't work as well. Day 3 New pimple on my chin ): It makes me sad.. haha! I got some more flakes on my nose and chin, but I think that might be my makeup and the cold weather. Not sure though. But wh
  4. I use CeraVe cream and it's really amazing. Hasn't broken me out, and is very hydrating. It doesn't make my skin feel greasy at all; and I have oily skin at times.
  5. the body needs good fats to operate properly. And soft drinks are extremely high in sugar and sodium- that isn't good, is it?
  6. I really like Celestial Seasonings herbal tea. They're caffiene free and have different flavors. My favorite would have to be the "sleepytime extra" very soothing and has chamomile in it. Add some honey and it's absolutely delicious!
  7. worked well: aczone differin purpose gentle cleanser cerave cream worked ok: aqua glycolic toner tea tree oil queen helene mint julep masque sucked: Neutrogena Clinique dermalogica clean start clearisil
  8. Sugar granules are too small to cut your skin, plus, most of the sugar dissolves when scrubbing if you add water to it, giving a more gentle scrub. I believe St. Ives Apricot scrub uses pieces of apricot pit, and the pieces can be quite big sometimes. Plus, the sugar scrub has honey in it which has natural healing properties, so even if the scrub were to create micro tears in the skin, the honey would heal those cuts. Still, if you're weary about it- I'd suggest using brown sugar since it's no
  9. You can see the results of aczone fairly quickly. I think I was in the two week mark, and could already notice that zits that popped up were dried up in about 2 - 4 days. I've been on it for 2 years- amazing stuff. My face looks so much better now than it did before! The only reason I'm still on it is too prevent other acne to come up to the surface (: Day 2: Going to a wedding later tonight, that'll be fun. As for my skin, it looks a lot better today. No redness, it's very soft, and no dry s
  10. Tea is a very soothing drink and perfectly fine for drinking before going to sleep. I'm sure it's caffeine free, right? As for doing you good, it depends on the tea you're drinking. If you're drinking lipton or black tea, it really isn't that good. But herbal or green tea has many benefits. Green tea has antioxidants that fight free radicals, and the herbs in herbal tea have many health benefits including them being a stress reliever. Overall, drinking tea is completely fine. It's sort of like
  11. I think you should at least "wash" it with water, just so oil, sweat, and dead skin doesn't build up and clog your pores. Just splash it with water and then wipe your face with a towel.
  12. Haha I use CeraVe cream too (yes, the tub is HUGE!) Since you are using a tub, though- and putting your fingers in it which can introduce bacteria, I'd say that after 2 years you should throw it out. It's better to be safe than sorry, and just throw it out and buy a new tub of it. Would you rather spend another $16, or get more acne in result of using a cream that possibly has bacteria in it?
  13. in one of these; http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-3-Draw...indingMethod=rr exact one actually, haha.
  14. You really shouldn't be exfoliating every day; it's too harsh on your skin and can actually be causing the breakouts since your skin becomes irritated. Stick to exfoliating 1 to 2 times a week, and cleansing gently twice daily. Moisturize and treat as well. Put some tooth paste, tea tree oil, or benzoyl peroxide to those white heads to help dry them out. Also, may I ask what exfoliant you're using?
  15. dead skin can actually clog your pores at times. It's a good idea to exfoliate at least once a week. I suggest making a scrub and using it once or twice a week. This is what I use; 1/2 cup brown sugar (it won't be as harsh as granulated sugar so it won't irritate your acne) 3 tbs extra virgin olive oil 2 tbs honey mix those together and put it into a container. Splash your face with warm water and gently scrub the dead skin off with the scrub, wash it off, and you're good to go! If you'd like
