  1. Great. I just have some forehead acne. People say I now have a good complexion
  2. I only use three products on my face 1. Organic Raw honey 2. Burts Bees shaving cream 3. Aloe Vera Morning - Shave with Burts Bees Shaving Cream and rinse off with Cold Water Night - Wash face with Honey then spot treat with aloe vera My skin is oily so I don't feel like I have to use moisturizers. I use to take advice from other people saying my skin needs a moisturizer, but it always did me more harm than good. My skin provides my face with enough hydration.
  3. Yeah the FDA does do a shit job. I wonder how we can change the standards though
  4. Aloe Vera. Make sure the product is from a plant or another product containing safe ingredients. Purchase it from a health food store because the products there are safer.
  5. For awhile I used products you would normally buy from the store, but it irritated my skin so I started researching the ingredients in face washes and lotions that were popular or that I have used. Most of the stuff I found was eye opening. A lot of cancer causing chemicals and stuff that even fucks with the endocrine system. Since then Ive been washing my face only with honey and I try to use products that are safe. I cant believe there's no government regulations on this stuff. It makes me won
  6. Personally I haven't had it done before. But my step sister who had moderate acne did this and it cleared her up and she had great skin for 3-4 months then her breakouts came back, but they're never as bad as they were before. It doesnt harm you or cause breakouts so you could give it a try.
  7. I've used regular facewashes in the past and the problem with those is that they have soaps or detergents in them. I've tries cetaphil and other cleansers. Even natural soap bars. I have pretty sensitive skin and these dry and irritate my face bad. Honey is best for me because it's soapless and it cleanses pretty well and dissolves in water great too.
  8. Well my skin gets extremely oily and moisturizing products definitely make it worse which causes breakouts. However I've found out that the oils in moisturizers were the cause of my displease with them. So I've found that the best moisturizers moisturize with water and are plant based. These tend to be very neutral and very rarely cause breakouts. They will do you no harm in trying them. Examples are Aloe vera and vegetable glycerin masks at night. I use both of these and they work to moisturize
  9. I've always wondered about this topic. People on this site seem to talk about it a lot. I wanted make a specific post for this topic so I can get opinions from acne suffers. Do you think its real? And have you experienced one while trying a new product/regimen? I've experienced these "initial" breakouts before while trying oils such as jojoba or vitamin E. I found out later that oils are bad for my skin because my skin already produces too much oil on its own. I was able to deduce that these
  10. I don't know. Killing off some of the natural bacteria that live on our face could be harmful. I'm pretty sure this will have side effects.
  11. If you have a negative attitude about yourself it reflects in your demeanor. Everyone has this sixth sense that picks up on these things. If you mentally look down upon yourself everyone else will look down on you. If you have a stronger attitude then the chances of people treating you the wrong way are slim (unless they're low life assholes/bitches).
  12. So the bumps you have aren't big ones there small ones? I wish I could take a picture of the ones on my face, but they're too small. But they're everywhere on my face. i have some pictures in the timehealsall megathread at the mild-to-mod acne section (lat 8 pages or so). You can see how they look like. gl bro I saw many of your pictures in the thread. My skin looks very similar to yours except its a little worse. I'm definetely on to something. are you serious? Damn man, i ha
  13. MY SKIN IS EXACTLY LIKE YOURS. I have seen the pictures and now I can tell its just like mine. EXACTLY LIKE MINE! Is the scarring from acne though? And dermatologists haven't done shit for me either. In face they've made things worse for me. I see now the frustration/depression you're going through. I feel the same way too. You are not alone. We WILL get through this. There has to be a treatment out there that works for both of us.
  14. BTW the users who have helped me so far are Timehealsall, stolis8, and akko. Thank you to all three
