  1. Yes that would probably be the best solution. You said you always feel like your face is dry? Did you ever try scrubbing off the dead skin with jojoba oil or something like it before you cleanse? That doesn't always work for me but if you put a little jojoba oil on right after you get done washing your face around the most dry areas it helps tremendously. I expect that you have already tried these things, now that you have been doing it for 5 years. Hope it works out
  2. obtain jojoba oil. dime size amount on face after washing. (before BP) ???? profit.
  3. I live in Florida. So we aren't used to getting that kind of weather. But I would suggest moisturizing more and maybe cut back a little bit on the BP.
  4. add jojoba oil after washing face before BP. Miracles
  5. wow that's a lot of typing. but maybe it's none of those and just stress. due from college and worrying about how your face looks? :l i would doubt your diet has anything to do with it. and since your 18 now i wouldn't think it would be hormones. maybe your not getting enough sleep? you could probably see a derm and they can tell you more ?
  6. You could try the baby brush method for exfoliation. I myself have not tested this, but I have heard great results. I used to have flakiness as a problem, but I seemed to have fix it. I apply jojoba oil right after I have patted my face dry from washing it. Maybe your doing the same thing but it's hard to tell over text :L. If none of that doesn't work, the last option I can think of is applying moisturizer and jojoba oil throughout the day for a quick fix? It may seem like a hassle but I would
  7. If they are minor breakouts, then it is working. everyone's skin is different, it the bp might just react differently. i wish you luck
  8. 1. wash face 2. jojoba oil before bp (not too much) 3. ???? 4. profit
  9. As I lurk the message board two thirds of the posts are "the regimen isn't working" or "the regimen won't work for me". I'm sure you all have read that the regimen does take time. Yes you are going to have a flaky face, and some people will be as red as a lobster. But it is worth it in the end, if you stick with it. Your not going to have clear skin overnight, or even in a week or two. And yes you are going to have small breakouts when you are increasing the BP. Another thing you should ask your
  10. Thanks for the replies. I have been applying AHA every other night because I heard some people break out when they do it every day. Maybe it's just the price we have to pay for clear skin :l. Goodluck
  11. Hello there I seem to have quite of a problem with redness and dryness. I have been on the regimen for around 3-4 months and it's worked great. I only get the redness right when I put the moisturizer on (cetaphil moisturizer+jojoba oil). The redness stays for about 30 minutes. Then throughout the day my face just gets flaky and nasty. I even moisturize throughout the day but it just doesn't seem to go away. I even do the jojoba oil scrub in the morning to get most of the flakes off. The only thi
  12. I personally put it on an already formed pimple. The only thing I think it does is maybe reduce the inflammation a bit. I'm sure it can't hurt.
  13. I personally use it twice. After the morning routine and night routine. I'm sure it can't hurt if you do it 3 times a day but just make sure you don't use too much. Goodluck
  14. That looks like it hurts. Best advice I can give is to not irritate it what so ever and be super gentle when doing the regimen. :l hope it gets better
  15. Thanks everyone. I think it might be because we sleep with out windows open and its like humid humid humid
