  1. Day One Hey everyone. So, today was my first day on Accutane, or Claravis. I was prescribed two 40mg pills twice a day, for a total of 80mg. I have not felt many side effects thus far, other than my lips are slightly drier than usual, which I expected. Other than that, I feel pretty good. My acne is different at different parts of my body. I am one of the unlucky few that suffers from face, as well as body acne. I have mostly those little white under the skin bumps on my face, especially on the

  3. Hey everyone. I will be starting Accutane in four days, and I wanted to start a blog about it. The reason I have not started is because your bloodtests have to be exactly 30 days apart. Isn't that silly? So, I have to wait until the seventh day in my prescription window and then hurry and get my questions answered so I can pick it up. I think this whole ipledge program is rather silly... I am sixteen years old, of course I am not going to get pregnant! Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself a
  4. I totally agree with you. My dermatologist told me I probably wouldn't have a second course, so I hope she is right. I'm on it for 5 months, so I will get off right before my birthday! What a nice present. And I would ask about extending if I were you, just because your derm has already decided on the dosage for your body weight. Some people are as unlucky to get started at 20! That would be awful
  5. I start in 1 week!! Oooh that's exciting! I would've started by now but the silly iPledge program said my bloodtest had to be EXACTLY 30 days apart, so that puts me at the 7th day of my prescription window. D: I have a blog documenting the whole thing if you want to check it out. dixielullabyx3.blogspot.com None of that silly I pledge nonsense in the uk! Bloods yesterday and as long as the results are ok then start next week! What's ur weight and dose if u don't mind me asking? I will deff

  7. The iPledge is awful. Mine worked out to where my blood tests are never 30 days apart so I can never pick up the prescription until the 7th day in the prescription window.
