  1. Thanks for the reply! Are these products good for spot prone skin then? May look into buying them, heard a lot of stuff about St. Tropez as well :D
  2. Hi guys and gals, Just as the title says really. I've finally got my acne under control using Olay products and my skin is looking the best it ever has. I'm really white though and a tan does make me look better - and helps to hide some of the red marks from previous acne. I know about the risks of sunbeds so that is out of the question. So now I'm looking for a way to fake tan. But I don't want to get a product which breaks me out/causes spots as I have battled with my skin for over a year an
  3. Hey guys. Thanks for this thread! Went out to buy myself some of this product and I have to say it's great. Only been a week but my skin looks and feels great. Just one question, I guess I'm a bit paranoid. I'm a 20 year old guy who has some (not major) damage from past acne and wanted a 'boost' for the skin. The problem is my Mum said that she was told using products like this before they are really needed can have a reverse effect and actually accelerate aging. Anyone have any comments abo
  4. this is going to sound.really dumb, but what does BP stand for?
  5. Hi guys, just a quick question really: I'm quite paranoid after using ACV for a while, unfortunately it didn't improve my skin texture after using it for a few months but I did seem to get less spots with it. Just wondering, are there any known side effects with ACV? If it's not doing a great deal for me I don't want to continue it and risk having other issues, for example accelerated ageing etc.
  6. Just wondering if anyone has anything to input about these products. Last year a nurse at a Transform clinic swore by these products and recommended that I buy them. I've been using the cleanser & moisturiser intermittently for over a year now but I still get the odd spot. About one every 2-3 days. I stopped using it and still got spots so I'm not going to blame them yet, but would still like to hear anyone's thoughts. Link to the cleanser: simple.co.uk/products/kind-to-skin-moisturising-f
  7. So how does it work? Red light therapy penetrates the skin by 8 - 10 mm. It encourages the formation of new capillaries in the skin, which then helps with the removal of toxins and aids damage skin, speeding up the healing process. It also stimulates the production of collagen, which is a protein with a high elasticity level. This helps keep the skin supple and contributes to a rejuvenated youthful look Google it for more information; I can't post links here, =[ Couldn't find much information
  8. Thanks so much for the info! I read it all and gonna try some stuff out. Really appreciate it!! ) One question btw, has anyone heard of Tamanu Oil? I read some really great reviews on the internet and on messageboards...so maybe I'll give that a go firstly.
  9. Hey, thanks for the replies guys. I understand it's hard to see it in the pics, I agree - I have to say it's much more noticable in real life and the lighting on the pictures isn't really great. I'm thinking of trying the Retin-a again when I return from holiday, but in a more steady amount. Before I was using it morning and night every day, so maybe now I will try and use it in less amounts and increase it. Also, how is Bio Oil for this kind of stuff? Thanks again..
  10. [PICS at bottom] Hello everyone, I just made a forum account to ask a question about my skin which is bothering me. Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong section, I believe it's right but feel free to move it if not. I would greatly appreciate ANY advice anyone at all may have, as my problem is really starting to upset me a lot. First of all, some information: I am a 19 year old Male, who at the age of about 15 had an extreme outburst of Acne and was consequently put on Roaccutaine (sp?
