  1. My friend with flawless skin washes her face with baby oil, then rinses it off and pats dry. Should I try this? I have dry skin from the regimen so, I'd wash with baby oil, then put on the regimen stuff, then moisturize?

Best Moisturizer For The Regimen? NOTE:

I adore, adore, adore this cream! I put it on and holy shit. So moisturizing, so wonderful. I can't even describe it. I used so little, too, and no flakes at all! I do the same regimen as you (Nearly) I do; Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Dan's BP, Neutrogena Healthy Skin/Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream Pretty similar!

Best Moisturizer For The Regimen? NOTE:

I'm relatively sure I'm going to go return my other product right now and grab a Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. I'm hoping that it will help with softness. I live in a VERY dry climate, plus its winter, plus I'm on the regimen, like I noted above. So I'm going with; Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Dan's BP Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream I'm done with all these AHA additions - I want creamy and nice, so why not go with a Cream? Plus, if its too thick, I can mix it with some leftover Cetaphil Loti
  4. Hi. I'm Ester, and I don't like AHA. So please keep that in mind. My skin is extremely dry from using BP and all that, plus its winter, but I have hard water. My skin is not terrible, but sometimes is stiff, now moreso because of the winter. I really want something that will moisturize SUPER well. AHA just sits on my skin and leaves it still feeling rough. I'd have to say, Cetaphil is the best I've used, but I'm looking for something, if possible, that is better. Keeps a better texture. I'm
  5. I don't like the Eucerin - taking it back. Gave me redness overnight.
  6. The "terrible" situation with CeraVe was such bad flaking I would have to hide my face behind my hands so people couldn't see me. I couldn't move my mouth very much, either. So apparently it wasn't really "moisturizing" as it claims to be. Maybe right now my water is just very hard - I'm not sure - but my skin was so dry I felt like crying.
  7. I was having a terrible, terrible time with the CeraVe stuff. I returned it today and got Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Eucerin PLUS Intensive Repair Lotion. I just did the regimen right now, so I'll report back later. What I did; Wash with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. Let it dry. Apply Dan's BP. Let dry. Apply Layer of Jojoba Oil on Dry Spots. Eucerin PLUS (Dry Skin Therapy) Intensive Repair (Enriched) Lotion. I looked at Kat Kerfuffle's list of ingredients for the one she used - it
  8. I found some in my house, says; AmLactin Moisturizing Body otion. AmLactin Moisturizing Body Lotion is a special formulation of 12% lactic acid, etc, etc. "Irritation may occur when used on face". My skin is flawless, no pimples at all, scars fading quickly, but my skin is stiff and dry and flaky, other than that, flawless! (Gee thanks, regimen.) Whatever moisturizer I'm user makes my skin looook fantastic, but its not moisturizing well in my super-rough patches. What do you recommend

    Moisturizer For The Regimen:

I'm fine, no breakouts, but I have very very dry skin naturally, and the moisturizer isn't cutting it for my skin on my dry patches. I'm looking to add something like vaseline into my regimen, after moisturizing, or before, and let it absorb on my really dry patches.

Well, I don't know why I was so paranoid. I'm still scared, but so far so good. No product has ever broken me out before, so I'm hoping this won't be the first! Even when I used totally terrible stuff on my face, it has never worsened my situation - maybe not helped it, but never worsened, so I hope this isn't the time to start! so far so good, my face feels lovely - the cleanser is kind of like washing my face with lotion, but I have to say, I love it so far! hour 18 while using CeraVe.

    Moisturizer For The Regimen:

Okay! I just want reassurance because I'm SUPER nervous to try out the CeraVe. I really don't want to break out, I'm kind of terrified, but also, if this will fix my dry skin, I'll be super happy.

I bought CeraVe cleanser and CeraVe moisturizer - so far so good (I spot tested on my cheeks a little - lovely feeling. Wow.) And so I hope that it will not break me out! Because of the DKR I don't break out anymore!

    Moisturizer For The Regimen:

So I'm not going to start using CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, Dan's BP, and CeraVe Moisturizer. Am I still on the regimen, or...? I hated Purpose. Caking, dryness, yuck. Gross. I knew it was that that was doing it, because after I would wash it, even if it was silky smooth before, it would be extremely, extremely dry. I tried it with another cleanser before, a friends, and my skin was smoother. Much. Much less dry. So, I switched. And Cetaphil turned white and tooth forever to absorb. I'm sc

    Moisturizer For The Regimen:

So I really want to buy CeraVe cleanser and CeraVe moisturizer... but I may be a little scared. I'm on the DKR and completely clear, but I'm scared that this may destroy my face? It has a yucky texture right now with these products, so I'm definitely looking for improvement, but these aren't on Dan's recommended products list... I'm worried.

Is it Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar, Antibacterial? Or what? Sensitive skin...I can't seem to find it. xD
