  1. I wouldn't volunteer the information and I've hidden it as best as is conveniently possible, but I'd just fess up. So what? So I said some things about a condition that's bothered me. Everybody who's ever had acne has felt the urge to vent about it.
  2. What's amazing is how such a trivial thing can bring strong, mature people down emotionally, and (to some extent, with exceptions, don't misinterpret this) lower good people's value in the eyes of others. Reflecting on it hammers home the message about how superficial our society is. We really are talking apes, obsessed with self replication and irrationally scared of sickness/mortality (e.g. acne is unattractive) :P. I feel that's a valuable insight that other people might not have the first ha
  3. Thanks for the support all, I felt much better the next day and reading these posts has been a bonus . It's great to personally experience how nice people can be.
  4. Hey guys, this is just a rant about me feeling bad which mainly centres around acne problems. tldr: I'm a 22 y/o guy who feels pretty lonely I used to be all "woe is me" about my huge/prevalent chest and back acne scarring (my face is untouched), but I felt that I got beyond caring about physical attractiveness, to the point of laughing about myself, etc. I still don't usually care about that. However, I've never had a girlfriend in my life and right now I just feel like that's impossible
  5. Go to the beach/pool every day ( I love swimming) Actually get intimate with women without being completely wasted Stop hating people without even knowing them
  6. Yep- that's true. From experience it's also a pretty awkward, nasty surprise though. My question is whether in a back covered in acne scarring or a face covered is less attractive, not which is a more preferable situation. Thanks to the marvelous invention of T shirts, back is obviously better for life.
  7. Hey, I've just started on doxycycline to try and keep my acne down and I'm wondering whether that will adversely affect any of my other health plans. I'm aiming to drop a few pounds of fat, and then build as much muscle as I can. On other antibiotics I've been told to take it easy, stick to casual exercise etc... but I'm probably gonna need this stuff for a long time and I really want to work on my shape. Will I be fine to go hard out on running/weights whilst taking this?

  9. Any chance of some pics of the scar reductions?
  10. It's given me an apathy I can tap into when anyone ever insults my ego, a place I can zone out to where my pride just doesn't matter. It's also given me a deep empathy for people feeling like freaks/outsiders that I never understood before
  11. Yes. Like you I can't even flirt with women without being wasted... I get the same "living a lie" feeling that you get
  12. Lol thats kinda the same feeling I've had. Like popping bubble wrap. Don't pop them though dude, you could get some scarring even without doing that shit on purpose
  13. All his stuff is great for vibing to when you're down (other than some of the poppy crap like We Made You)
