  1. Lol, why would putting yogurt on my face help! I guess it would make your body release good hormones cause you'd laugh that you just put yogurt on your face??
  2. For years I had this attitude... "I eat so good, why am I still messed up!?" The problem is, I wasn't eating healthy. I just thought I was. I had to awaken about a lot of things and reinvent my ideas about what healthy is. I see the same thing all over this forum. People loading up on soy milk because they're trying to get off dairy. People eating whole wheat, thinking they're being healthier than usual. There is so much false information out there about what is good for us (mostly due to greed
  3. That's exactly what mom says! She loves everything natural! It makes me feel like an outkast though. Everyone I know eats burgers and drinks soda their skin is flawless! My mom expects me to drink vegetable juice every morning. Sigh, life is so messed up...
  4. What's with the negative comment? If I'm not mistaken, you also took accutane. You only regret it and did research on it, because you had negative side effects. If he's doing fine, then let him continue with his treatment. I'm sure if he notices any signs of trouble, he'd stop.
  5. Hey bro, get yourself some all natural emu oil. It's been used by aborigines in Australia to heal wounds and take down inflammation for thousands of years. Get 100% natural emu oil. Moisturizers you get from the store like Cetaphil have chemicals in them that your skin might not be able to tolerate now that it's on Accutane. Just slather on a bunch of emu oil at night (it will make your face shiny, so you'll want to do it at night) and in the morning your face should be a lot less red. Give it a
  6. My guess is that your skin thinned while on Accutane revealing a vein that's just under the surface of your skin. That would make sense, since you said it was white. Your skin becomes white when something pushes on it, like a vein perhaps. So do you think that when my skin thickens I won't see the pulsating? This is so disturbing. Ya, most likely, but even if it doesn't, it's not that bad anyways though. Some people have that type of thing regardless of Accutane.

  8. Hey, where can I buy scallops for cheap. Also, how would one prepare these?
  9. I have a question. Can I drink buttermilk? Theoretically, it should be ok right? The bacteria added to the milk breaks down the lactose sugar into smaller molecules that can be properly digested, which shouldn't give you acne right?

  11. No matter how old you are, skydiving should still make you wanna shit your pants the first time you do it!
  12. Broccoli has more of a calcium than milk. No freaking way! Lady, you just helped me a ton! Thanks! Yeah, google anything you're worried about being deficient in, i.e. "foods with calcium" and you'll be surprised. Also looking up bodily functions and how they work, i.e. adrenals, lymphatic system, liver, kidneys in combination with like, "foods, herbs, and supplements that help the _____system" is pretty interesting. Grapes are starting to amaze me. P.s. it looks like turnips and kale have more
  13. Thanks for the replies guys. I think I believe you guys, but I just always need reconfirmation when I eat crappy and then break out. I guess I better stock up on healthy foods for however long my motivation with this diet lasts. I think what happens is that I eat healthy and then my acne starts to clear up, so I don't worry about it and start too eat junk food. Then I break out and get angry and depressed start considering medication again. I guess I just have to accept that this condition is f
  14. Dear Indigo Rush, please listen to my situation. I have acne. It can actually get pretty severe. Today, my boss kept making a disgusted face, and asked if I needed to go home. This comment was aimed at a gigantic cyst between my eyebrows. I know what caused the cyst. It's from some cookies and chocolate pudding I ate on the weekends. I've noticed a direct correlation between sugary foods, processed food, alcohol, and acne. I would love to take accutane and stop worrying about this problem, becau
