  1. SoOo i've been off Accutane for a month. I'm still a little red in some spots..some days are worse than others. My camera isn't the best and neither is the lighting so this pic makes it look better than it really is...
  2. Four months later and I'm finally done!! . I was supposed to do an extra month but the IPledge program wouldn't let her put it in the system so she said it was ok to discontinue. I don't know how to feel about it tho. I still get a pimple on occasion but clears up right away. But I have come a LONG way. Now I have to go back in 3 months for a follow up..so hopefully nothing happens between now and then! I'll take pics later...
  3. hey ob:ey,, i use cetaphil soap. then i use cetaphil moisturizing cream after i wash my face. i don't wash it more that 2 times a day. i got back to the doctor on the 11th im gonna have to talk to her about it. i just hope she dont keep me on it longer. some days it looks really good and others it looks bad (redness). why cant my skin just make up its mind!! GRR its so aggravating =(
  4. ew why am i still getting pimples!? after 4 months of this pill you would think i wouldn't still be getting zits!
  5. Good luck with your course! It's a rough few months but it's worth it!
  6. Welll im gonna start this off by saying..im a little disappointed. i went to the doctor today and she told me she wants me to do an extra month!!! I was so mad all day that I got 2 new pimples. Soo maybe the extra month is needed. But still....I'd like to go swimming without getting fried, and wax my eyebrows without peeling my face off, and applying chapstick every 10 minutes, and everything else that I don't have time to mention. But I've been getting lots of comments at work and from famil
  7. Thanks guys! It definitely makes me feel better bout everything when theres people out there who understand what im goin thru. People that don't have this problem have NO idea!! Well heres month 3: (lookin rough that day for some reason...must have just woken up)
  8. Sooo...its been awhile. Been kind of busy and don't really get on here much. As for my FACE,, it looks pretty good. I'm not as dry as I was for some reason. So that's cool. I have this little cyst that just wont go away. Sometimes it gets big then I pick at it and it goes back down. I had a issue last week. All week my back was hurting but by the end of the week it was the worst pain I have ever been in. I was so scared that it had something to do with the accutane. So I went to the ER
  9. Just started month 2 Thanx everyone for the posts! So I went to the doc the other day to get my 2nd prescription. She says 4 months should be enough. So that would be pretty cool. Im still pretty dry...my eyes, face, lips, neck is real bad, arms, legs, earlobes, and hands. I guess there's nothing I can really do but moisturize. I forgot to ask her if I take vitamin E if that would help,, anybody know?? I don't think im ready to go out yet...but I turn 21 soon so I hope the redness is gon
  10. Sooo does anybody know how the doc's determine how long a person should be on accutane?
  11. Day 16 I'm really impressed at how well this is already working. The only symptom I'm experiencing is the dryness. My face, my eyes, my nose, my hair/scalp, and my arms. But it's been worth it so far. My derm told me the first month would be the worst...if this is what she meant by worst, I can deal with that. I'll put a new pic up at month 2 .
  12. I've been using Dial forever. Every once in awhile when Cetaphil is on sale at work I buy it. It seems like it goes so fast...it lasts about 2 weeks. I'm definitely going to stock up on it though, I really like it. Thanx everyone!
  13. woww i hope that not what it is. Its been like that for about a month now and i just figured it was finally starting to dry up. But I'm definitely going to bring that up to her next time I go.
