  1. Hey guys, I find that dehydrated skin can also lead to acne and blackheads and large pores, as well as acne not being able to heal as efficiently. Could everyone drop the name of the moisturizer they're using for their acne-prone skin? Thanks so much in advance!

  3. It's a myth that avocados contain a lot of omega 3. They do not if you do some studying. They do contain mostly monounsaturated fats. I've been to all kinds of doctors about my condition, and yes, unfortunately none of them will believe that your scarring came out of nowhere. It's up to you to do some trial and error to see what helps and doesn't help. I would say treat your body as if you have an autoimmune disorder. My conclusion is that our skin is being tagged as a threat/microbe and attacke
  4. I've had this same problem since joining this site 6 (?) years ago. I've had periods of remission where they stop appearing. But currently it's a constant on & off thing. I went from baby butt smooth skin to moderate scarring all over my face. It's disheartening... I used to model. I haven't tried anything to treat them as of yet, but they're all not deep for the most part, so I'm hoping to get them where they're all barely noticeable. What used to help me keep them from appearing was taking
  5. Agreed with the above comment. Although, I take Prozac and notice my skin heals a lot faster with than without it. Everyone's different.
  6. OP had nice results with excision. Wish she had a current update.
  7. I also see people complaining about Super Cop causing new scarring as well, so you may want to keep a look out on that too. Thanks for your reply.
  8. f93d, Your scars are 19 years old, or you're 19 years old? Just wondering! And did you get new scarring from using it on active acne, or the new scarring came out of seemingly nowhere? Thanks!!
  9. I definitely notice. I've recently lost about 15 lbs due to some health issues and my scars are way more pronounced.
  10. I think it could be possible if they're still fairly new. Your body has an amazing ability to heal itself if given the right tools. I mean nutrition wise, and even being in the right mentality. I've been away from these boards for quite awhile because of how negative it is... To sanjoseskin, I think people who barely get results from lasers and such don't have the right tools to heal their skin with. There's a reason people have acne scars in the first place, their skin doesn't have the ri
  11. Hey guys! Wow, I haven't been on here in a long while. I haven't used the dermaroller myself because last year right when I thought my acne was finally over, I hit some major health issues and started breaking out pretty badly again. I now have even more scarring, and I'm still breaking out. My skin reacts badly to literally everything I try to use for the acne. But ANYHOW, I just wanted to BUMP this thread! I know there are more of you out there that are dermarolling/ dermastamping. Thanks
  12. Complex 15 Therapeutic Face Cream alllll the way! I wrote a review on Makeupalley as to why, so I'll just copy and paste it here. --- My HG moisturizer!!! I have been using this continuously for about a year now, throughout both summer and winter. Using this for that long is saying a lot from me, considering I have tried about 30 other (no joke) moisturizers before this one! It's the ONLY moisturizer that doesn't irritate or break out my acne-prone skin AND actually moisturizes. I have combi
