  1. I’ve been on spironolactone for about 8 years. I don’t remember there being much of an initial breakout. I went off of spiro for a few months to give my body a break and slowly my skin started to get bad within two or three months. Then I started it back up and within a month or so I started noticing a huge difference again. Spiro is the only thing that really has kept my skin looking good. I get oily without it and it definitely keeps everything under control. I wouldn’t worry if th
  2. Hi, just wanted to know if you started to use 100mg initially or did you up the dose. Also how long did it take for you to notice the oil reduction. I have extremely oily skin and large pores. My acne has been persistent and has be on my cheeks, but up until last month it appeard on my lower chin. It's been a week on spiro and my acne doesn't seem to die out. It's still red. Mayb

    1. I agree with Greentiger 87. The Neutrogena Anti-stress stuff is awesome. The toner really really works for me. I cannot us BP..it's way to harsh on my skin. That whole anti-stress line is great..I recommend it to everyone.
    2. The Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion is the best I've found. I was using Cetaphil and I thought that was doing a good job until I decided on a whim to get Aveeno. I could not believe how much better the Aveeno was. Even though the Aveeno doesn't specifically say for the face..it still was much better. Aveeno doesn't break me out at all..and it doesn't give me a red tint. For some reason the Cetaphil did make my face red for a while after I put it on, I think it may have been because it has oil i

Made me feel happy More Energy Gave me a glow I break it in half and it scratches the hell outta my throat I'm really glad I started taking a B complex..I've noticed many positive things. I suggest trying it:) I didn't think I'd notice such a dramatic difference in how I feel but I can tell when I forget to take it. It made my skin much healthier looking.
Refreshing Smells good Kills acne Smell can be kinda strong I love stuff! It really does treat my acne. I get less acne and when I do get a pimple this stuff really takes care of it in a day or two. I moisturize after I use it so it won't dry me out.
Does the job Antibacterial awesome Seems to stop working when it gets small I will never use another soap for my face. This really helps stop the acne. Didn't dry me out, but it probably would if I didn't moisturize afterwords. I bought a soap saver holder so it doesn't sit in a puddle of water and it lasts longer. I really take my time when I use this..to make sure it's killing all the bacteria.
    4. I'm 25 and have a good 10 years of crying, fighting and being downright harsh to my face and think I'm starting to get it right. This is what I'm using. 100mg of Spironolactone (been taking this for like 6 months) I wash day and night with Cetaphil Antibacterial for dry, sensitive skinThen I tone with Neutrogena Triple Action Toner Acne Stress ControlThen I use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing LotionI take a daily vitamin that I bought super cheap and also a vitamin B complex 100Another thing I LOVE
    5. I've been taking 100mg of Spiro for like..6 months. I personally didn't notice a break out but I had acne constantly anyway so I probably wouldn't have noticed. I didn't have any bad side affects either. My sister and I started taking it at the same time and she did have side affects so she had to take less. I'm so thankfull for this stuff. It cut my oil production and I noticed almost right away. It has really helped with a lot, I can get out of bed and run an errand really fast if I want and I
    6. I look at old pics of myself too and it's upsetting. There are pics of me from just like 4 year ago and I look happy and free and healthy. It's painful to see them. It wasn't that long ago. I try to remember the products I was using and how I was eating and my state of mind. The thing that upsets me the most is how much healthier I looked. I had a happy glow.. since then I've gotten married and moved out of my parents house and that might be the reason I look and feel horrible. There's more stre
