  1. I have couperose (many broken capillaries) and sensitive skin (I redden extremely easily with touch, temperature, etc.), and I've been using natural remedies to keep it under control. Avoid exfoliation and irritating ingredients (including BP and salicylic acid if you can). You can also try rosewater, aloe vera gel (higher quality), rosehip seed oil, and avocado oil. I use other things, too, but these particular ingredients appear to help most. Maybe they will help you, too. Good luck! E
  2. I've found TTO to be beneficial to acne, however it is also quite irritating if used in high dosages. While there are people who have no problems using it undiluted, most websites conclude that it should be diluted in a carrier oil before being applied to the skin, preferably in a percentage of five or under. TTO also, as far as I know, will not fade red marks. I suggest using Rosehip Seed Oil for scarring and marks. However, it all comes down to what works for you. What your dermatologist
  3. Her having a boyfriend has nothing to do with you, so although it hurts, it says nothing about your appearance. Other girls may find you very pretty, and she may have herself if she wasn't already taken. As for not e-mailing and deleting you off of her Facebook, that may have been at her boyfriend's request. And you do write very, very beautifully.
  4. I had the same problem and it went on for months. It just came out of the blue one day and vanished just as mysteriously as it came. Try exfoliating and using a body wash with salicylic acid. Good luck.
  5. I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your avatar. :)

  6. I love photo threads. They're so fun to look through.
  7. ...when the first thing you do when you get home from school is cry until you fall asleep...every single day. ...when you need to go to therapy. (This is in reference to my middle school years.)
  8. I've always been told that it's due to poor circulation, though I'm sure there are many things which could cause this problem.
  9. This sounds like a combination of skin care and foundation issues. My advice would be this: use the oil cleansing method to wash your face. When you treat for acne, avoid dry areas and try to dab your treatment only on the spots where it's needed. Start using pure mango butter or apricot kernel oil as a moisturizer (or you can use both, mixed together in equal parts). Apply your moisturizer while your skin is still slightly damp to help it absorb and lock in moisture. If you feel it necessa
  10. I don't believe that you can use sugaring to remove blackheads. You can try using an extractor, but you have to be extremely careful when using one of those.
  11. I've tried his microdermabrasion exfoliating cream before and loved it. I think Dr. Brandt has great products.
