  1. bump Anyone have any answers? :/
  2. Hi, I just used my dermaroller for the first time yesterday. (It's a 1.5 mm). But I'm not sure I applied enough pressure. It kinda hurt, so I didn't do it hard enough for it to bleed or anything. Are the needles supposed to go all the way in? (Mine definitely didn't) I've been looking for answers but I keep just seeing "apply the right amount of pressure" and I'm not actually sure what that means. haha. I want improvement, so I don't want to do it too lightly, but I don't want to do it hard e
  3. Well, I'm not sure how far you've come, but keep in mind that it's only been 3 months. Some people see a lot of change in that time, but others take much, much longer. I'd stick it out a bit more. I think the reason so many people don't think retin-a will help is because they get discouraged quickly, but most effective treatments require a lot of patience. It's definitely not fun to wait, but I think with the amount of time you've been on it, I can't really make much of a definite call on wheth
  4. Hi, So I've had acne for 10 years. Finally the zits got under control, but I was left with some really rough looking skin. I started on Tretinoin .05% for 7 months and it seemed to be helping some but not completely. I was bumped up to .1% about 2 months ago and now my pores look even deeper, I'd say. I understand that's probably just part f the process, so that's more just frustrating than anything. I guess what I'm wondering about MOST is this redness. It's been around for years, and some
  5. Um. Alright. Not so much worried about what "guys" think. I'm in a happy relationship. It's personal. I have suffered with acne since I was 12 years old. I finally got the whiteheads to go away, but the blackheads never did. The dermatologist disagrees with you, as he prescribed me Retin-A, which seems to be helping somewhat. Thanks for your opinion, but no thanks. As I said, I couldn't get a good picture. If your idea of "helping" is telling me to get over myself, I suggest you do the same.
  6. I don't know what this says about me, but from the second I read the title my first thought was "That would be awesome if this worked! And so cheap!" and not for a second did it being gross cross my mind. Maybe I'm desperate? Or maybe I'm just comfortable with the processes of the body? Not sure. Needless to say, I'll be trying this. Although my biggest problem is with blackheads. I've seen mixed results with that...but I did see a couple people saying their skin felt tighter? I mean, I suppose
  7. hey can you tell me what exactly you're talking about with the raw foods diet. i mean, i'm sure i've got a general idea, but is there a link to a list or something?
  8. sorry...dont know what just happened but I accidentally posted twice.
  9. While I appreciate that you might think it looks fine, these pictures don't really portray how bad it is, considering it's not the worst light and I have on makeup and regardless...while I know people have it worse, I've been dealing with acne for nearly half my life, and now that the big zits are starting to pass, it's extremely frustrating that I'm left with this. My friends and boyfriend have great, glowing skin. I'm extremely self-conscious. I was thinking about Accutane, Retin-A, or Fraxel

  11. I'm only 20 years old, but my skin makes me look 40. I've had acne since I was 12, and I'm afraid all the medicine has really taken a toll on me. I've got big creases under my eyes and huge pores. Thankfully when I'm inside it's harder to tell, but outside my skin looks miserable. I'm hoping they're only big because they're still clogged? Or there is scarring that can be fixed? Does anyone have skin like this, and can you please please tell me how to fix it? I'm desperate and willing to try anyt
