  1. Hi Dan - It has been a really long time since I posted, like 6 months or so, really hectic time. Anyway, I saw your post about looking for a lawyer to donate some time. Just wondering if you found someone?
  2. http://www.marykay.com is the main page, and you click on the button "consultant locator" and you enter in your zip code (if you're in the US) and they direct you to a representative's home page. If you're in Canada you click on that button instead of entering your zip. Then on the consultant's page you click on the shop button and on the shop page select "classic basic skin care" from the product list. On the classic basic skin care page select "moisture balance" from the product list. Then
  3. Paul are you moisturizing? You didn't mention it. If you are new to the regimen, I suggest the Purpose moisturizer, but if you have been doing this for a while try the Eucerin renewal Alpha Hydroxy moisturizer. They are both really nice, not greasy at all. Sometimes you need a double application of moisturizer around the nose and mouth even, to get rid of the flakes. Reply with any questions. -M.

    HELP!

If you want to simplify the process, take a needle and heat it on the stove until the end turns red which will mean it is sterilized. Then just gently press it on the center of the big white head until it pierces the skin. Follow the whole qtip procedure already mentioned. It makes the whole process easier.
  5. Mary Kay makes an EXCELLENT Oil Control Lotion and it is not expensive, a $14 bottle lasts like 8 months. You use moisturizer first, let your moisturizer dry and then put some of this on top. It is noncomodogenic and applies very easily. It doesnºt last ALL day, like you will have a little shine at the end of the day but nothing compared to normal. Take it from me, I have extremely oily skin and this is an excellent product. I have also used the Neutrogena Oil Mattifier and it did not work
  6. Ask Fatman, he's Dan's man across the puddle. -M.
  7. There used to be a whole bunch of users from India on the old board...but you should use the search function at the top of the board or the member list or something to find people...M.
  8. I tried the Desitin a few weeks ago - maybe some of you remember my posting "Scientific experiment with Desitin want to join" or something like that. I was going to post results over a regular basis but I didn't because... I put Creamy Desitin on the first night and the next morning I woke up with 5 new zits!!! The bad kind!!! At that point I had not gotten any new zits for a month, so it is pretty clear what caused the breakout, and I haven't gotten any new ones since then either. I put a
  9. I have to say Jeetz, I am very disappointed. I was going to start taking pictures but I don't even need to. I decided to start using it last night, and today I have three new zits!!! I have had one zit in a month, so to get 3 in one night after using the Desitin is a pretty bad sign...
  10. On the old website I remember people talking about (a) how the Purpose AHA was being discontinued and (B) how the Eucerin Renewal was even better. So it sounds like you are on the right track...

  12. Ok, so I am going to start using Desitin and taking pictures at the same time, and everyone can judge for themselves once & for all whether this Desitin works...whether it fades, whether it breaks out people (or at least me). But I don't have a digital camera, so it is going to have to be old school camera with scanned pictures. Anyone in the same boat who is also interested in participating?
  13. They used to sell these things in drugstores/pharmacies that were black head removers, almost looked like a beer bottle opener and you put the opener end around the blackhead and apply mild pressure, and the blackhead pops out....if you use your fingers you can push bacteria deep into the skin and make real problems. See if they still sell those things, I can't imagine they stopped...the worst part will be asking for it if you can't find it on the shelves by yourself...ask me if you have any q
