  2. OKAY, so it's been a long journey for me and acne (bout 3 years or so), the most recent (and effective) thing i've been doing is tetracyclines (twice a day) and retin a (at night). I also use baking soda to exfoliate when needed and i have been using ACV twice a day for my red marks. I firmly believe that because of all this, my acne is gone. Sure, i still get a few pimples occasionally, but not nearly as bad as i did before. My problem now is the red marks. They've faded a bit with the three mo
  3. ok, so i've read basically EVERY post on this and i actually tried the baking soda and egg white mask tonight. My skin felt great after, and i understand this is just the first time, but the marks were still there....i just wanted to ask how long, if any knows, before you start to see some improvement for using this. Ok, so ive been to the doctor 2 or 3 times and we've brought down my regimen to this: Morning: Wash face with warm water Apply with Purpose Face Cleanser Rinse with cooler water Apply Azelex (20% azelaic acid) Use neutrogena oil free moisturizer if skin is too dry Night: Repeat washing steps Apply Retin A 0.1% 20-30 minutes after washing I also take erythromycin pills day and night. My doctor first wanted to just prescribe the retin a alone, but when he "saw how unhappy i was" he gave me azel
  7. ok, so i have mild acne on my forehead, but it spread quickly and now my forehead is basically a smoother version of sandpaper -____-. I would just keep my hair out of my face (i have long hair and i know its the cause), but it just looks too bad to let ppl see...anythin i can do at all?
  8. OK, so ive been noticing that my skin easily dries and once it starts to regain its natural oil (hours after washing) my acne looks alot better. I've been searching to see if washing once a day is enough and, turns out, it is!!! I'm gonna try this out tomorrow and see if it works then update. I've been washin my face twice a day, but now im gonna try: morning- cold/lukewarm shower, apply azelex, use moisturizer if needed; night- warm water, vichy cleanser, cold water, azelex. I RLY RLY HOPE THIS
  9. Hello to the people reading this , I'm a 16 year old male that is in high school. I know that acne is rly common in teens in evierything, but i look around at school, and it seems nobody has it as bad as me. I'm very self-conscious and paranoid about my acne. I have it on my forehead, my upper lip, and chin. It's horrible looking in the mirror everyday, after having a good day, and being crushed by what i see looking back, a red, bumpy face. I've tried tons of things, cetaphil, oxy, azelex, vic
