  1. I have a cyst (2-3 mm) above my right upper lip. It started out as a cold sore....I put abreva on it which made it aggravage into a cyst. (So I stopped abreva). It's been 2 weeks and a couple days since I first developed the cyst....and it is still a little red and isn't healing as fast as I want it to. Should I be worried about scar formation if a cysts last this long? I've always gotten cysts.....but they usually resolve within a week. This is definitely the longest lasting cyst I've had. A
  2. Please keep us updated possiblyHopeful! I used to use Head and Shoulder to wash my hair and face (2x a day when I shower)...but I stopped about a week ago. Winter is coming up and I don't want to dry out my face. I feel that is the main reason (drying/irritating) my acne gets much worse in the winter. I now use the baby shampoo by johnson & johnson which has minimal chemicals in it. My plan this winter is to pretty much just use moisturizer. I'm 23.....and tired of acne. I just want to sto
  3. Hello everyone, On Tuesday...I woke up with a cyst on my cheek the size of a dime. No joke.....this is hands down the biggest cyst I ever had. It became really red, swollen, and inflammed the next couple days so I searched online and decided to buy and use Hydrocortisone 1% (the Rite Aid brand). I applied it liberally....keeping it on all day. After a day and a half of use....my cyst has gone down tremendously. It has shrunk in size and has also become less red. Hydrocortisone is suppose to b
  4. I think everyone here is being a little ignorant of how serious cancer is. Cancer and chemotherapy is a very very painful and life changing event to go through. Acne is seriously....20-30 fold less serious/painful/emotional than having cancer. Just go by this saying... "The grass is always greener on the other side." Yes, I am an acne sufferer, and I know the emotional damages acne causes. I can honestly say I'd be a different person today if I didn't have acne. But still.......having a
  5. Hey guys, What do you guys think of using Aloe Vera as hair gel? I just tried it, and I'm pretty satisfied with the results. I usually don't normally gel my hair because gel breaks me out....but I don't think aloe vera will because I have used it on my skin before and it hasn't broken me out. I don't have a lot of experience in styling my hair with gel so any hair styling tips (for guys) would be appreciated.

  8. wow thx man!!! omg i never even thought of this. now i will have a 4.0 and it's all thx 2 u!!!!!! Regarding the OP...well CC is CC... I assume all you want to do is graduate and just get the diploma. It doesn't really matter; I would just go on suspension, get your problem solved, and then return back to your life. Hahahahahhaahha. I'm not the one failing out of school smart asssssssss. If you do what I said.....it's almost impossible to do bad in school. You'll at least do average...
  9. Go to every class and pay attention....take good notes. Sounds simple...but doing that will bump you at least 1 letter grade in your GPA
  10. I believe there are multiple reasons why there currently isn't a complete "cure" for acne. *Acne isn't life threatening - so research on AIDS, cancer may be more important *Acne seems to be cause by multiple factors (genetics, stress, weather, etc) - so it may be very difficult to come up with the ultimate "cure" all. *People usually grow out of their acne - maybe time is the best cure. Those are the only things that came to my mind right now.....but I'm sure there are many more. I do agree
  11. Wow, you bring up really good points sarah. Summer: No school - less stress, more sun, more exercise, less dry Winter: School exams - stress, less sun, less exercise, more dry I can't believe I never thought about that! Winter acne definitely seems to be from multiple factors.
  12. So, every year my acne flares up in the winter. It starts a couple weeks before thanksgiving, and reaches it's worse during december and january. When warm weather starts to come back...my acne nearly goes away...and my face pretty much only has the old blemishes. My personality is way different during the winter and summer. It's like I'm 2 different people. I'm happy, confident, loving life during the summer. And during winter, I become anti social, sad, etc. I'm tired of dealing with this. I

It's getting warmer....and my skin is already improving a lot. Except for the old blemishes.....I have very very minor acne right now. Anyone solve this mystery? i know im not the only one!!! What else can I do besides moisturize, drink lots of water, use less acne medication!! I don't want to keep dealin
