  1. Does anyone know if it's possible to print this entire thread? If so, can someone explain how? I don't see an option.
  2. I have a question: When Accutane was being used or tested as a chemo drug, what was the dose used on the patients? I have tried googling, but coudln't find anything. I'm very curious. Anyone?
  3. I took Accutane for 6-7 months in December 2010 until May/June 2011 - 40 mg/day. prior to starting Accutane, my doctor didn't seem too worried about side effects, and didn't express that there was a real chance of that happening. When I started I was 26 (31 now) and only had mild/moderate acne. About six months after I finished my course of Accutane, I developed Type 1 Diabetes. After that I had a bunch of other side effects, which include brain fog, dry and itchy skin, joint pain, shoulder surg
  4. It doesn't matter if you drink while on accutane. Your tolerance won't even be lowered. I drank nearly every weekend I was on that stuff and I was fine. Also, every month my derm. would say , "your bloodwork is flawless". This was usually on a Monday after drinking for the weekend too.
  5. I drink pretty much every weekend while on it, so unless your some sort of a wimp, I would say you can start ASAP.
  6. I have been on Accutane for 3 months and I have drank whenever I felt like it. My derm says that I have flawless tests each month. I am on 40 mgs/day My friend just finished his 6 month course. He also drank both weekend nights. Flawless tests each time. He was on 60 mgs/day. When I read my accuatane warnings list, it didn't even say to avoid alcohol. I am sure most people on here will advise you not to do it, but I really don't think it is a big deal at all.
  7. Aquaphor works great yeah, but it is extremely annoying. I do use and would highly recommend Blistex Herbal Answer (SPF 15). It is in a light green tube. My lips haven't gotten bad yet and I am on the 3rd month.
