so i've got mostly red/dark marks left, and i'm using tretinoin cream/cetaphil moisturizer at night and duac/cetaphil in the mornings. i was wondering if it was safe to use a tinted moisturizer to even out my skin tone, like maybe the one from clinique? something like this: http://www.clinique.com/product/1599/15635/Makeup/Foundations/Moisture-Surge-Tinted-Moisturizer-SPF15/index.tmpl i'm a guy so i don't want to use full-on makeup, just something light to make the marks less noticeable.

i have never smoked cigarettes nor marijuana and get red marks on cheeks only everyone is different, but i think it is just wishful thinking just trying to randomly pinpoint the cause of red marks. if you are convinced then you should give it a shot and stop smoking

i have oily skin, which i think is a result of my skin being very dry and then it overproduces on oil. after cleansing and moisturizing i find it less oily i'd look around for some topics on shaving. your pimples seem to be around your jawline areas which is why i brought it up. a straight up electric razor might be too harsh. when i use one my cheeks feel very rough afterward and i feel like it makes me break out (though i only need to shave like once every month ! i really don't grow much

lol i think you misunderstood - i STILL have red marks from 5 months ago. they were dark red but are fading to a pinkish-red though they are still very noticeable. but it is getting better, and you just have to have faith that things will be ok i've tried: apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, alpha hydroxy acid, egg white mask, drinking tons of water/lemon water, eating healthy, vitamin supplements, all with little to no success. at this point i'm still trying treatments but i don't -

it's because nobody has an answer. i've tried a bunch of different things and nothing seems to work are you asian? it looks that way from your picture. i am asian and i've had very red marks on cheeks for 5 months. it seems like forehead/nose/chin/etc. all fade in a few days to a few weeks, but cheek marks last a long long time. i've looked through a TON of posts in this forum and it seems to be a trend, red marks on asian cheeks are nigh on impossible to get rid of don't let neverfor
