  1. I was just wondering if anyone had tried using Dan's AHA to treat acne scars. I'm mostly dealing with hyperpigmentation, but I also have a few indented (I guess) scars. Let me know what you think!!!!
  2. My esthetician has been working on my skin for the past month now and she's help a lot with my skin. A lot of my breakouts have left behind some nasty red marks, and the esthetician says that microdermabrasion will help with the marks. I just wanted to see what other people thought of this. Let me knowwww!! Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the responses! I haven't had any kind of environmental exposure issues (I'm not going outside too much because of this terrible rain) I'm going to try using more jojoba oil tonight and see how that goes. It just feels (doesn't look) like the area around my mouth is abnormally dry and it feels weird to move it. My mild breakouts are concentrated around my mouth and my forehead, and I've found that this is where the dryness has been. I'm scared to use BP now, I don't want it to irri
  4. I've been on the DKR for about 3 weeks now and all was going well up until two nights ago. I didn't use more BP than normal (and in fact, I didn't to anything out of the ordinary) but after I applied the moisturizer, my face burned for a good hour or so. It was mostly around my mouth and my cheeks (which is weird because I have no acne on my cheeks). It happened the night after too (last night) and when I washed, moisturized, and put make up on my face this morning, my face felt super dry and t
  5. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves the jojoba oil! You can use it so many different ways. I tried putting some in my conditioner and it made my hair super soft and silky! It's especially great for a mild exfoliant (on my skin at least) Glad you're loving it!!
  6. Well I got the liquid foundation, concealer, and powder, and I used all three products tonight and I can say that I like this stuff so far. It didn't look or feel cakey, it was easy to apply, and I didn't really have a hard time taking it off. I use the jojoba oil to take most of my makeup off anyways. I'll let you know how it works for me. I was thinking that some of my breakouts might be cosmetically caused. My mom has been telling me over and over for the past couple of weeks that whenever
  7. So I saw Dan's blog post about makeup yesterday and he said that Almay is a very good makeup to use. Alamy even has an "acne friendly" line called Clear Complexion. I just wanted to see if anyone out there has had any progress with any Almay products. Let me know ladies!
  8. I'm kind of in the same boat. My boyfriend has very, very mild acne (maybe just one pimple every two weeks...lucky bastard) and he hates when I wear makeup or use acne products. He's always told me that he doesn't care about my acne, which does help a little, but it doesn't change the fact that I just want it gone!!!
  9. I've got them too! Like Cest said before, people who use their eyebrows a lot for facial expressions (like me ) tend to have these kinds of lines.
  10. Thanks for the great replies! I'm not using the AHA as an all over moisturizer yet (I didn't even know you could). But I'll definately wait to start doing that for a month. Thanks again for the tips!!!
  11. Alright, so I've been using the DKR for about a week now, and so far, everything is good. I haven't had any insane redness or flaking (thanks to the AMAZING jojoba oil) and my skin is starting to even out!! I just had one quick question about the AHA. I ordered this product as well just so I would have some for later, but the other day, I just wanted to see if it would work. I just put about a pea size amount on a big pimple I just got, and in the morning, there was nothing wrong, no irritation
  12. I think we all know how you feel sweetheart. Maybe you should think about Dan's regimen. I haven't started to use it yet, but it's on it's way here and I can't wait for it! There are so many people on this site who have found it useful. So maybe that's an option. I know how you feel about your dermatologist. My first one was a stupid, opinionated, old guy who didn't know anything about teenage girls. I think I've gone to about 5 different dermatologists, and I'm happy with the one I have now.
  13. Your picture is adorable.

  14. This might sound like a silly question, but here it goes! I won't lie, I love giving my boyfriend kisses, but I was thinking of something a little random today. I was wondering if the oil from his beard hair could be causing any of the breakouts I've been having around my mouth. I know it's not good you have your own hair touch your face because of all the oil your hair produces, so I figured, is there a big difference between the hair on your head and the hair on your face? Kinda random, but
