  1. i saw in your regimen that it looked like you were using proactiv. ?

i definately dont recommend it AT ALL. the first step is practically like rubbing sand paper on your face. it did nothing for me and all of my friends you have used it. (just a word of advice) ;)

  2. REGIMEN AND MAKEUP TOPIC: well i ALWAYS wear foundation so i cant tell you if it makes a difference not wearing it when you begin the regimen. but it probly isnt that great for your skin to always have foundation on it. i would say that if you can possibly avoid wearing it atleast when you start, that would be best. however i still did, but i admire anyone who doesnt

  3. The regimen did *WONDERS* for my cystic acne. I used to have 3-4 cyst on my skin at one time. It cleared them up and all of my black heads, white heads, and pimples. I would absolutely give it a try if I were you.
  4. Its good you kept with it! I was in the same boat and just so impatient. I was like "JUST WORK ALREADY!" Lol. But it just takes times like all things *_^
  5. Yes it does work. Just follow the directions precisely. Ive been on the regimen for 3 months and have seen dramatic results.
  6. Thank you for the kind words and yes. Just hold on, stick to the regimen and follow the directions precisely. If your having just an insanely rough day with outbreaks and just fed up with your face( it happens here and there) and thinking about quitting, just tell yourself "one more day". If you can tell yourself "just one more day", that "one day" will turn into weeks and you will walk past the mirror and say "OMG! MY FACE LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER!" I am for SURE staying on the regimen because it i
  7. Hey there. So this topic is VERY random but I decided to post it in hopes that it will help some of you guys/gals out there who have been on the regimen for a relatively short time, ABSOLUTELY frustrated you are not seeing quick results, and thinking about quitting the regimen. I have suffered from acne (still do but NO WHERE near as bad) ever since I was 13(20 now). I have basically handed thousands of dollars to companies like Neutrogen, Clean&Clear, Proactive, and my dermatologist who pre
  8. I have been on the regimen for 8 weeks. It has done wonders in clearing my skin though I have a long way to go. Bottom line is that the regimen moisturizer DOES NOT moisturize my skin for long. After 5 minutes it is extremely dry and very flaky again. Even adding more and more moisturizer, after 5 minutes it is back to being dry. I know you are supposed to follow the regimen EXACT for best result, but is it okay to find a moisturizer that actually does moisturize because the regimen moisturizer
  9. Hello and congrats on beginning your journey that will hopefully led you to flawless skin! Welcome!
  10. Oh ok. Yes applying concealer with that small applicator can be very tedious. Perhaps you could try Maybelline's Dream Mousse Concealer and that way you can use a brush or sponge to apply it and that will cut down A LOT of time. Or you could also use CoverGirls stick form concealer with a sponge or brush as well to cut down the time it takes for you to apply.
  11. Yea I would find a shade a bit darker. You want that healthy pink undertone look, not that fake pink undertone look if you know what I mean. Foundations in my opinion should look very natural and look as though you have no make up on. I would find a different shade if I were in this situation.
  12. Currently I also use Maybelline 24hr Super Stay foundation and that by itself. If you get a really good liquid foundation, there is no reason to set it with a powder. It just depends if the makeup will last long on your face without one. I choose not to use one because powder personally makes my skin so terribly oily when I use it so I opt for the foundation alone and it does a great job. I also do not like to put a lot of makeup on my face all at once. Here is some information that was passed a
  13. Good for you deciding to stop using your make-up! I don't think I could manage it. And that goes to answer your question...YES! I feel that way each night! I only feel good while wearing my makeup and know that as soon as it's off I'll go into a sometimes depressive state (depending on the severity of my acne at the time). I'm hoping that one day within the next month or two I'll be able to wash it off and still be happy...maybe eventually stop using it, or as much of it! If only I could beli
