  1. I think what makes us sexy is (for me anyway) is that I have the "ugly duckling" syndrome. Most of us do not realize how beautiful and sexy we are and that is very refreshing to alot of people.
  2. If he can't support you and be more understanding about how you feel about your skin and support the fact that you are only trying to learn how to take care of your skin, then you need to really think about whether he should be in your life. Your boyfriend should always be your best friend and the first person you come to with problems or if you need to talk. He should be supporting you and helping you out. Don't let him turn the situation around on you and make you feel bad for sticking up f
  3. Yes, it is a very small tube and unfortunately you would have to (if you can) buy a few tubes of it. Also, the Neutrogena is not exactly cheap either for that small bottle. I am not sure if there is another BP that is suggested through the website or not. You might want to look and see if there is. I will look to and if I find something besides the Neutrogena I will let you know. Found some. See if you can find any of these at Walgreens. Acne.org Treatment, Neutrogena On-the-Spot, Cleara
  4. Take into consideration that everyone likes different products and how they work for them, but you can buy Cetaphil Antibacterial Bar (cleanser) at Walgreens. The BP that Dan suggest over the counter is Neutrogena On the Spot and either Oil of Olay Complete for Sensitive Skin or Aveeno Ultra Calming (moisturizer). Those would be my choices. Good luck!
  5. It is a little time consuming to do the regimen. I would suggest just using the bathrooms to wash your face and then buy yourself a vanity mirror to put in your room (you can buy one that hangs on a wall or buy one that sets on a dresser/table) and use the vanity mirror for the rest of your regimen (topical and moisturizer). That way the only time your in the bathroom is to wash your face.
  6. I have "side-swept" bangs and I don't have any problems. I make sure that I cover my forehead before applying any hairspray and I usually pull my hair off of my face when I sleep so that I don't sleep on my hair and risk getting any of the oils and hair products on my face. By doing that, I have not had a break out.
  7. I use Cetaphil Antibacterial bar (I've never used the liquid) and I love it. It makes my skin feel clean and refreshed without overdrying. It has helped clear up my acne when used with my topicals and moisturizer. I have oily skin as well and I have seen a difference because my skin is not as oily as it used to be. So if you are not liking the liquid, I would highly suggest the bar. Not to mention I only pay $2.99 for it, so it is also very affordable.
  8. I got the H1N1 vaccine almost a month ago along with my child. His daycare had a child that was diagnose with the H1N1 virus and that was why we decided to be extra cautious. I had no side effects from the vaccine and neither did my son.
  9. Since my skin has cleared up nicely with the regimen I am now in the process of trying to clear up my red marks left from my acne. I started using AHA at night, but I have heard about the great effects of ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) as a toner to get rid of red marks. My question is, would it be ok to continue using AHA while using ACV as a toner? Thank you!
  10. Yes, I have very dry skin on my face. I have been on the regimen since July '09 and after I wash my face it is very tight until I put moisturizer on as well. I know it is the cleanser I use and the BP treatment that has dried my face out. But once I use my moisturizer and a drop of Jojoba it's fine the rest of the day. I did a lot of swimming this summer and I just had to deal with the tightness until after I was done swimming. Unfortunately, my regimen has worked so well that I hate to cha
  11. I'm sorry you have to deal with that situation everyday. It's good to know you are still happy and energetic outside of the home and try to let it roll off your shoulders, but it's still painful and a major stress for you. Has your mom ever come with you to your dermatologist appointments? If not, she should. Maybe you can explain to your Dr. your situation with your mom and ask your Dr. if he could explain to your mom how your acne developed and how it is going to get better and it will tak
  12. I don't know which one to pick. I have normal/dry skin and my acne used to be on my chin, jawline and cheeks. My outbreaks would be worse during my menstrual, but I could breakout pretty much anytime.
  13. It could be the BP, but I cannot tell you that for sure. Can you order Dan's products? I use his BP and it is the best BP I have ever used. If you are able to order Dan's products I would totally suggest that you do. The only product I have not tried of his is the cleanser and I have been very pleased with all of them.
  14. I had really bad redness when I started the regimen too. I have been on the regimen for 3 months and what I started using and I absolutely love it is Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer w/SPF 15. It contains an ingredient called Feverfew which calms your skin and reduces redness. I swear by this product! I know products are different for each person, but I thought I would let you know about it. I know it is frustrating, but all I can say is my skin has never looked this good, so keep it
  15. Once you start the regimen you will have to see how your skin reacts to the cleanser and BP. I know my skin became very very dry once I started using the BP. What I use that I LOVE is Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 and I mix in a drop of Jojoba Oil. I hope you find something that works for you!
