  1. Well I took a cortisone shot in the afternoon. Should I apply BP/AHA at night in that area or should I leave it alone?
  2. It works for me. HOWEVER. I used the regimen twice a day UNTIL my face cleared up. After that, I use it every morning to maintain the clarity that my face has. At night I use AHA. Still trying to get rid of the AHA. Bottom Line: Experiment, see what works for you. Good luck mate.
  3. Interesting... if you don't mind, can you keep us informed if the scars are still gone?
  4. That's strange. I used to have a LOT of dead skin on my face in the form of flakes. I was peeling like a snake! I used AHA and the flakiness, peeling, AND redness disappeared overnight. It's probably just me though..
  5. I got AHA+ a couple days ago and have been using it every night since to see how it would affect me. So far, nothing has happened except that my face is A LOT smoother than it was before, and it is noticeably LESS red. Using it everyday hasn't been causing any new breakouts or anything. So I got a few questions. Should I continue to use the AHA every night? It seems my skin isn't really bothered by it. But just in case... Would I break out eventually if I continue the use of AHA every
  6. Thanks for the help guys! I love this board. I've been on the regimen for three months now and the only problem I have now is the red marks. When I received the product by mail (this morning), I gently applied it all over my face. Almost immediately, (maybe the placebo effect? Probably) I saw my red marks begin to fade. I've read the responses too late and already applied it earlier tonight. I won't apply it tomorrow though, thanks for the input!
  7. I'm getting my AHA+ very soon from acne.org and needless to say, I'm very excited! Anyway, my main facial concern among others at the moment is my red marks left after acne. Can I use AHA+ during the day and night to moisturize?
  8. HAH! I NEVER DO IT in the mornings. Why? Because I wake up in the afternoon. Sometimes later, so I end up doing it when I wake up, whichever. Then do it again before you sleep. It doesn't necessarily have to be in the morning. Sometimes I wake up and do the regimen an hour later when I feel like it.
  9. Took me a month and a half to get clear. I remember when I was in your shoes, the three week mark.. It was absolute hell for me, my face looked a lot worse than it ever had - but just keep dragging on and you WILL find the light in the end of the tunnel.
  10. Well I'm pretty much clear thanks to the regimen, now I just need to get rid of the red marks. So is using the regimen in the morning and retin-a at night a good idea? Or should I do something else? Thanks for the input
  11. I have a couple tubes of RetinA that I never use anymore. But I have these red marks that I want to clear up, but I'm still on the regimen. So how would I use it in conjunction with the regimen? Thanks a bunch!
  12. Thanks for the replies! I really appreciate it, and am thankful for the community here. It's good to have some people to relate with, and just another quick question for those of you who have been on the same boat, how long did it take for your face to get better? Specifically, how long did it take for the redness and flakiness to subside? I think I may see a slight improvement but it's not really determinable because it's really a rather small nuance of a change.
