I really hope someone can help me. I've always had very mild acne but in the past year and a half a combination of birth control, severe stress, and a minimal skin regimen (I had trouble taking care of myself) have caused a severe acne breakout. The pores on my inner cheek are clogged to the point that I can see when I get close up that there is some pale white residue clogging them (sorry this is gross). My skin is red, dry, tender, swollen, and I have atleast 7 white heads on my outer cheeks.

Has anyone been drinking green juice? Will 4-8 oz a day be good for acne? Does it cause a rise in blood sugar? Thanks.

I've been a binge eater for the past year and my digestion is totally messed up. I'm ready to stop and put things right. The problem is, at this point anything I consume is bloating me up. One glass of water swells my stomach like crazy. Should I go to a naturopath/doctor to solve this? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I have been a binge eater for the past year and my skin has obviously really suffered for it. I have cystic acne, scarred pores...it's awful. I'm in therapy and am ready to stop. I'm planning to begin a fast tomorrow (a safe one, lots of water, boiled vegetable water, vega smoothies) that will last for about a week and a half. I have problems with anxiety and depression and emotional eating used to be my way of dealing with them. I've been sticking to a whole foods diet recently and I'm doing well, but right before bed is like torturee for me. It's my usual binge time, and I've been doing whatever I can to prevent myself from giving in. Right now I'm eating 1-2 riesen chocolates and a spoon of almond butter with a few sips of coconut water. This helps. Does anyone have suggestions for a more acne-friendly bed time sn

I'm currently using tretinoin gel .025 (retin-a) nightly as well as a prescribed antibacterial face wash morning and night. My face is really peely and dry and I feel like I really need to give it a break once every other day or so. I was wondering if anyone could recommened a face wash to me that will work well for oily skin that's dried out (so strange)?

I'm indian and yogurt is included with dinner most of the time. I really miss eating it and I always ate it plain. I gave it up when I read that dairy could be contributing to my oily skin/acne. Does anyone see anything good in including plain nonfat yogurt in my diet?
