  1. My love, you will certainly get through this. It may seem like a long journey, but it will go by so quickly, trust me, and then you have the rest of your life.
  2. Hey stranger. Sounds like we're going through similar shit. I get what feels like a battery of blemished from time to time and I'm squinting in the mirror thinking wtf, this is not what it said on the label. Anyway. Glad things are going well for you otherwise. I always enjoyed your stories, so if you ever want to elaborate on anything juicy or dramatic, go on right ahead *sits back in armchair, tilts head and taps index finger on arm rest*
  3. Okay, so it's been well over a year since I have come off Accutane. I will update SOON, for those who care...
  4. Hi, how are you? Miss your funny blogs :) Hope your skin is doing great now!

    1. Hey, how's life on the bright side?

      10 WEEKS POST FINISHING

Please accept my apologies for the long absence. I've been trekking across the outer Hibridean islands on horseback for the past three months. That, of course, is a lie. Well, I finished my accutane course as quietly, unceremoniously and discreetly as a 67th birthday. There was no fanfare, nor a specific moment I feel I shall remember forever. I was actually surprised when my final pill came, and I can't even remember specifically when that was. Five times out of ten I look in the mirror a

      Arwena's Roaccutane log

How did the derm visit go?
    5. How long does it take for oiliness to come back after coming off of accutane? And does the return of the oil pretty much always mean that your acne is coming/will come back? I've been off it for less than two weeks and I'm paranoid that my nose is very, very slightly oily at the crease!

      DAY 168: Photos

Just a quick one, peoplings, to bust out some photographs. I did some cheeky comparison shots too. Left side Right side Then I thought, "I wonder if any of my scarring (pock marks, eugh) have gone down, so I took this photo (WITH make up on, please note). Then I compared it to one I had taken a little over a month ago (also with make up on) at a time when I'd declared how bad it was, and thought, "Ooh, it's improved loads," before realising that lighting most likely played a significan

    8. Firstly, your skin is looking greater still, so congrats! Does it feel good to say you no longer have acne? I don't think I can say that just yet, even on day 158, but I know the time will come. Secondly, I missed a few episodes of The Bachelor while I was abroad, but I am all caught up now aaaaand... I managed to avoid finding out who Jake chose until the VERY night I was going to watch the episode on demand, but I saw it on a magazine in the supermarket just before I went home to watch it. So
    9. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read my log (you must have an ocean of spare time), and secondly, I did a quick scan of parts of your log, and I must say it looks like a real gem. For this reason, I shall be putting it into the glitzy category of "logs to read when genuinely requiring a fun time", which means I am going to read the entire thing from start to finish, even with my snaily reading pace, but only at a time when doing so is a little treat. I'm not going to read back on what
    10. Hmm. It doesn't feel like it's been that long since I last posted, but it appears it in fact has. Although compared disgustingly unbusy compared to many, it feels like I've constantly been doing things, important things, or doing a good load of well deserved nothing. Anyhow, you may remember I've been to Hungary to see family. How was my experience? Standard, I'd say. It was tricky remembering to take my pills outside of my normal routine, but taking my mini pill (that's contraception, lads, not
