  1. I've read a lot of success stories about people who have been eating a diet of basically just meat/chicken, veggies, and healthy fats such as EVOO and others, and they say their seb derm either went away or is under control now with little to no symptoms. I was just curious if any of you guys have done it, and if so, how long did it take you to see any kind of results? Also, I was a big coffee drinker but stopped drinking it a little over 2 weeks ago. I haven't noticed any changes in my skin r
  2. I've noticed that when I'm outside and it's either really cold and windy, or only a slightly cold wind, that once I'm back indoors, my nose gets really red. Almost like a flush. Does this happen to any of you guys?
  3. Okay, I was diagnosed with Seborrhea a couple years ago. It's pretty mild. Light pink inner cheeks and nose. No patches because I wash skin daily with manuka honey. Whenever I drink alcohol (mostly any beer), get really nervous/anxious, take a hot shower (but not every single time) or am outside in the cold weather, my nose will start to feel like..pressure and kind of like a throbbing and then it gets really red. It gets to my inner cheeks too a bit. It usually lasts up to a half hour-hour depe
  4. Thank you for this. I'm going to try this now and hopefully get results like you did. Do you think the baking soda played an important part in your seb derm clearing?
  5. A lot of people, even without acne think that being able to attract someone is all based on looks. It's all about the personality and confidence, although looks do play a small role. I see guys and girls with acne all the time with boyfriends and girlfriends, some even looking better than the other. Some people just care about looks. If you have acne, and you're hot and have a horrible personality, they'd still date you just because of your looks. It all depends on the person. I'm just starting
  6. I know what you mean. When someone gives me a compliment, I feel like they're being sarcastic and really don't mean it, so accepting compliments is something I reallyyy need to work on.
  7. Don't continue to use it, it's red because it's irritated. Just use the cleanser and moisturizer.
  8. She's just not one of those girls who have sex with a guy they first met. Getting a cuddle and her staying 'round at yours is a very good sign. She could of not wanted to go round yours and just of left it as that saying goodbye without hugging or anything physical. By her touching you in a non sexual way is a positive action and sweet for it shows she's conveying affection. By her not wanting to sleep in bed with you is out of politeness meaning it would feel "sexually" too much for her.
  9. Lol sorry to hear she's a lesbian, but I'm glad this girl inspired you to not care about your acne. And you're right, if they can't look passed it then they're not worth it
  10. Be confident. You and her both will have a better time if you focus on her and not your scars. If she's that shallow to just leave, then she wasn't worth your time. Let us know how it goes!
  11. Just go to the party and have a good time. Don't let some red marks keep you from enjoying yourself. If that girl changes her mind because of your skin, she wasn't even worth that hookup >.>
  12. Do you think this would help with the inflammation as well?
  13. This is for Sebastian or for anyone reading this...I'm not very smart with this. How do I do a 50/50 ratio of Green tea and white vinegar?
  14. It seems like something that might work for one person might not always work for the next.Personally I've found that using a small amount of plain old selsun blue diluted with 10 drops of water works very well for me.If you scroll up you will find my previous post with step-by-step instructions on how I use it.The trick is that when you find something that works, stick to using it on a regular basis.Consistency is the magic word.I try to not use it too much...but not too little so the SD starts c
  15. I recently found out I have seborrheic dermatitis. I'm getting very frustrated because I've been to the Derm two times already, and nothing he gave me has worked. My skin doesn't get the brown flakes anymore but if I let the dead skin build up, I probably will. When I wash my face with a soap or something, it rubs any dead skin that might be there and my face is left looking red and irritated. If I wash with just water and I don't try to rub any deadskin off (if there is any) then the dead skin
  16. I went back to the Derm today and he perscribed me with an antibiotic called Doxycycline. He said that my skin is sensitive so putting anything on my face to treat it externally will irritate it more. I have more hope in this pill so i look foward to seeing how this goes.
  17. Besides my nose and forehead clearing up a bit, none really. I'm pretty disappointed because I thought I'd see good results. Hopefully the derm gives me something to actually clear this up. I would go back to the no wash regimen but I can't walk around like that. Plus, it wouldn't work for me because I have the Seb Derm.
  18. It's been 2 weeks and the only actual results I see is my nose and forehead. The redness on my cheeks got a bit lighter but that's about it. I think it's because when I used the SA on my face, my cheeks is where I put it the most. I put it on my nose a lot too but not as much. My forehead I didn't really touch which is why it's clear besides two small pimples. I have to go back the 7th of October so I'll see how my face looks by then.
  19. So I've been using the Desonide cream for about 5 days now. I don't see much improvement, but my parents say it looks a lot better. It's still pink but a little less than it was. It's gonna take probably another week maybe a bit less to see better results though.
  20. Yea, this sounds kinda weird but I've noticed I have this little patch of dead skin behind my ear and it's seb derm and I haven't used any products there ever so I'm thinking that the Salicylic Acid face wash that I used alot irritated and dryed my skin giving me seb derm. And I've come to the conclusion that some people are more prone to seb derm and I guess I'm one of them and that's why not all people develop seb derm from products like you and me, if that makes sense? And the desonide works
  21. Hey everyone. I just got back from the Derm about a half hour ago. He says it's seb derm. He told me to get head and shoulders and wash my face with that in the shower. He also gave me Desonide cream which i'm picking up tomorrow. Idk maybe i'm wrong, but if you guys have the dead skin buildup and red irritated skin, it could be seb derm as well but everyones skin is different.
  22. Hey Jmaaan, Just a quick question. How long did it take for you to see results using the Desonide cream?
  23. Haven't been on here for awhile but I think that me and you kinda have the same problem. This regimen did lessen the irritation on my face but everything you described is the exact same with me, if that makes sense? No acne just dead skin and redness and damaged skin pretty much. I've been to the derm about 6 times or so and out of all the things they've given me (read previous post) what has worked best for me is the Desonide cream and it's .005% but it helps alot with redness and dry skin and
  24. Hope the derm proves fruitful! Just out of curiosity, how long did you undergo this "regimen"? And what had you been using previously? I have been doing this for at least two weeks now, and I no longer feel irritation. My skin is still adjusting, but it looks no worse than before I started, and in general looks better acne-wise and the colour is more even. The only bad thing is that I have dead skin buildup in some areas, but it's not very noticeable unless you are up close. So maybe you just di
