  1. I just paid for cost + shipping. I don't think I paid for customs since they sent the package under the label 'gift'. The courier always place the package in my mailbox unless it's too big/bulky.
  2. I bought A-Ret Gel 0.025% (Tretinoin) from facebay and got the parcel within three weeks. I live in Toronto, Ontario. Tretinoin is also available on Ioffer without prescription. I've used both sites and they delivered on time. But if I had to make a choice between the two, I would go with Ioffer for their fast shipment. I don't have insurance so I'm not going to have a derm write a prescription for something I can get for cheaper.
  3. I feel emotionally exhausted because I don't know what skin I will to wake up to in the morning. It is frustrating to get a taste of clear skin only to have it taken away from me the next day. I am trying to keep a positive mind-frame because if I let my acne get to me I would not have the motivation to do basic everyday tasks. However, because I don't start school until Fall, and I am only taking an online course this summer, I have been keeping myself indoors and cannot even muster the courage
  4. Yes, the redness will fade. The indents will probably be there to stay, it depends on how deep the scarring is. I used to have a couple of shallow indents on my right cheek and the tca peel got rid of them. You probably reached a plateau with the AHA. Same thing happened to me. It was great when I first started using it, but after a while the effects wore off. I still use it because it keeps my skin clear and smooth. Have you tried any chemical peels? FYI, my red marks takes 7 months to 1 yea
  5. I use BB cream (it's similar to a tinted moizturizer, but much thicker) and concealer to cover up my red marks. I have not used the one you posted, but it will not impede the healing of your red marks. My only advice is to make sure that none of the ingredients in the TM will cause breakouts for you. Otherwise, it's totally okay to use makeup if it will make you less self concious about your red marks.
  6. Based on personal experience, my red marks take 7 months up to a year to fade completely. Crazy right? I wish it didn't take that long but from experience it does. By the time the old one fades a new one takes its place. Probably because I bombard my skin with too many irritating products in hopes of finding the miracle cream that will get rid of it in one go As far as treatment goes, I'm using a leave on AHA lotion (have been for a year +) and just recently added a retinol cream (Alpha Hydr
  7. Hey guys! I just want to provide a short update. The only change I noticed in my skin was the texture. My skin is already smooth to begin with but the tca peel improved it even more. I can't believe it! My red marks faded a little bit. The lightening is so insignificant that only I noticed any difference. Also, I broke out during the healing process I don't blame it on the peel, since it was bound to happen. I had two underground pimples on my cheek that were beginning to form. I think the
  8. Yesterday was the day I was supposed to do the tca peel, but I was too tired when I got home from school. Anyway, I just did the peel 30 minutes ago. I was expecting it to burn badly when applied, but it wasn't bad at all. I applied two layers and only the right side of my face frosted, which is good since that's the side where I have the most hyperpigmentations. I'll keep you guys updated. I took before pictures and will upload them with after pictures in 3 weeks, maybe earlier if I see any no
  9. Hey guys! I'm going to be doing a tca peel today. I wanted to do it last week, but life got in the way. Anyway, I'm hoping that it doesn't itch as much as the gycolic acid peel. When I do that peel I'm literally counting down the seconds until I can take it off because the itching is so intense. @blackblake Did you have any downtime?
  10. Thanks for the link. I will read it after I get home from school. I'm already using a physical s/s and moisturizing with vaseline (after i apply the aha lotion). It still takes a year for my red marks to fade away, 8 months when I'm doing weekly peels. My red marks are just that persistent. Even when I get the tiniest pimple, it leaves a mark and sometimes takes the place of one that is fading. Its just so frustrating. I don't want to wait another year when there could be something out there
  11. I got my TCA kit today I am so happy with the fast delivery. I will be doing the peel tomorrow, so I'll let you guys know how it goes. I actually wanted to do it today, but I have class tomorrow. I didn't want to take the chance and end up looking like something from a horror movie.
  12. I've been doing weekly acid peels for close to a year now with so-so results. The first two months I saw the greatest improvement on my red marks, which I was ecstatic about. I thought I would be clear of my red marks after a few more peels but that never happened. Subsequent peels only improved my skin texture, which wasn't even that bad to begin with. My only complex was the residual red marks that acne left behind. I upgraded to 60% glycolic acid since I reached a plateau with lactic acid, at
  13. Amazing improvement, I'm so happy for you! Give it a few more months and you'll be red marks free.
  14. All I see is one light scar (can't see the other one), I wouldn't worry about it.
  15. I started with 40% and did 11 weekly peels before moving on to a higher percentage. Right now I'm using 50%. When I did the peel I applied it all over my face and allowed it to set for 10 minutes. I would then neutralize the acid once the time is up. I began spot treating my red marks a week ago, and it has made the greatest impact on the color of my red marks. I'm only dealing with a few red marks so I only apply the solution where I have hyperpigmentations. But before stumbling upon this techn
