  1. Acne isn't causing you to be self concious, you are. Even if you get rid of acne your ego is going to search for another physical thing to cling to. Just because you've tried all of the topicals/antibiotics/birth control pills doesn't mean you've tried EVERYTHING. You'd be supprised, there's an infinit amount of suggested methods for dealing with acne. Ultimately, it's your choice. We aren't trying to force you in to anything, we're just giving you our advice because you asked for it. G
  2. I finished 6 months of accutane at 60 mg a day. I use tazorac now but I find if I use a pea size amount for my entire face it works perfectly but if i use too much in in one spot or leave it on over night I break out but nothing like before. I had very severe cystic acne so I didn't expect a complete cure first time around. Tazorac is amazing just leave it on for a few hours before bed and wash it off. Also, when you cut out dairy watch nuts!! I found out I had an allergy to almonds and walnuts as they broke me out, although less severe also. I wish I could save everyone one on here money and

I also have acne:[ I am currently on metrogel which truly is the best for rosacea but not acne. I am also on clindymyicin pledglets, azelaec acid, and my derm said minicycline also. I feel like a lab rat! He also asked me to go on retin a micro but Tazorac killed my skin!! I am too scared. If anyone out there has rosacia or cystic acne BEWARE!! I would like to know if
  6. I started tazorac 3 weeks ago and experienced the initial breakout in the second week. It was horrible but having dealt with acne for 15 years I knew I could handle it. Initially I was terrified to wake up to the horrific sight of almost 10 new beauty marks in places I never broke out in before on my face. Having been an avid user of glycolic acid( the only non prescription medication that really works on acne) I was used to peeling. So as my skin turned for the worse, I started to use th
