  1. Thanks for the reply. The thing is, I've tried low-dose accutane before but I could never do it for more than a couple weeks, because it dried out my skin incredibly and it just ended up looking worse...and this was a year ago, before my skin was as dehydrated as it is now. Diet is certainly an option...I am gluten free, so I do eat fairly healthy, although I could certainly cut out dairy (but what would there be left for me to eat? lol). It's just so frustrating because my acne isn't severe
  2. So, I've always had pretty oily skin, but now b/c of coutless face washes, treatments, creams, etc. my skin is now also very dehydrated (I know oily AND dry, just great - __ - ). My acne is fairly mild, but very persisent. I have blackheads on my nose, and blackheads/closed comedones on my forehead and nothing I have tried has been successful in fully eradicating them. Now, my major problem is b/c my skin has become dehydrated, treatments that used to work as short-term solutions for break-o
  3. I tried megadosing b-5 a couple of years ago for a few months...not only did it not work, but I am now gluten-intolerant. Now, I can't confirm whether or not that's the true cause, but I'm also not the first person who's had that same reaction from it. I would not recommend megadosing b-5 to ANYONE. It messes with your immune system.

  5. Buy a real problem? Ego boost? Listen, I'm well aware that the severity of my skin issues may not be comparable to some on this website. I understand that. I feel so much pain for anybody who has to deal with acne scarring of varying austerity, shape, and size...do you know why? Because regardless of whether someone else thinks it looks bad or not, it's the very person who's dealing with it that has to look in the mirror and be unhappy. To make an assumption that I would do this for an ego boost

  7. Man, I try not to let it bother me and sometimes it doesn't...but seeing it up close in the mirror gets me down. I mean there's got to be something that can improve it. I wish you were right.
  8. Well, I'm fairly depressed right now after taking these close-up/awful lighting pictures just now of my forehead...but I'm hopeful in doing so, someone can point me in the right direction treatment-wise. Alas, I've tried so many different options e.g. dermastamp, v-beam, erbium laser, chemical peels, countless creams, and so on...and yet I still can't find a solution. Anybody with similiar scarring or any ideas as to improve my skin? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Here are the pictu
  9. I've seen that a good amount of people on this board have gone the excision route in the hopes of improving their scars, and with my major problem being ice picks/scarred pores, I've finally decided to buck up and get it done for myself. My question now is, from experience, who would you guys receommed in regards to a derm or plastic surgeon for excision specifically? Any help or input is greatly appreciated.
  10. Anyone residing in Los Angeles who knows of a dermatologist that they've had personal success with in regards to acne scarring? Thanks in advance.
  11. Hey guys, I have a bunch of scarred pores and shallow ice picks on my forehead that are extremely bothersome, and I was wondering what you all thought were the best treatments nowadays for that type of scarring. If any board members have had any kind of success whatsoever treating scarred pores and icepicks, I would to love to hear your stories and find out what the treatments were that worked.
  12. Seeing his recent pictures makes me really happy. He looks happy.
  13. I have read that most people on this board use diabetic needles when individual needling, but I am wondering what is length is the best to use, and where I can buy them. I have some small ice picks on my forehead, that I feel would be perfect for individual needling...does that effect the length I'm using? Also, I was planning to apply some CP's before and after I do this.......should the CP's be applied in a similiar fashion one would use when rolling, just put on the individual scar instead?
