  1. Thanks guys for replies, I really appreciate it. Yesterday I stopped using Dermatop and I started using the Body Shop aloe moisturizer with Bio oil on the cheeks. I'm going to go with this for a few days and see if it gets any better, and if not, I'll go to my family doctor again. I also tried using Extra virgin olive oil in the shower, but to no avail. The cheek problem remained the same. Should I try using jojoba oil as my moisturizer? I heard it's really good. Btw, I have oily skin; so i
  2. My skin is getting worse.. now the skin on my cheeks are peeling off so badly like a snake's skin. It feels soo dry right now. My mom and dad are telling that it's okay, but it really isn't. They're not willing to take me to the doctor. So I started using Dermatop cream again since yesterday. I researched and I'm not supposed to use more than 3 weeks so I'm assuming I can use it again since I stopped a month ago? Also, would saline solution be beneficial for my skin condition? I knew this pers
  3. Hi, I'm a 18 year old girl and recently my cheeks have been very problematic. Since September last year, my cheeks become really red and dry, itchy, blotchy, and very very sensitive. I feel a tingly sensation constantly because of my cheeks. Now, it's so sensitive to the extent that I can't put on sunscreen! They're also hot when I touch them andI can feel my cheeks heat up when I talk to people or even when I'm alone. They're also weather-sensitive- I live in Toronto so these days when I reach
  4. i'm a 17 years old girl and i have had chin acne for about 6 years. my skin is relatively oily (mostly forehead, nose, chin). the chin acne not severe or light; i'd say it's mild. my chin is really sensitive and is pretty red too. the problem is, the acne in my chin starts with a little black dot (i think they're blackheads but i'm not quite sure..) after a few days, a little bump appears with the little black dot in the middle. then, it turns into a pimple. however the time it takes for the bu
  5. I've considered that, but I can't find any AHA/BHA that are reasonable priced. Since I'm a student, I can't afford anything above $10 for a exfoliant
  6. Really? But as time goes by, it's getting worse... I have so many underskin pimples, and they hurt a lot. I think it's gonna get worse in the long run..
  7. I'm 17 years old girl with combination skin. I'm having bad problems with my chin for the past years. I have a lot of zits, whiteheads, blackheads, underskin acne(cysts?), and dark scars very often. They're on the middle part of my chin, and some right below the lip. Since I am Asian, the scars look very dark. I think the blackheads on my chin are turning into underskin acne(?) overtime. I don't touch my face with my hands because I'm scared that another skin problem will arise. Before my per
  8. I have once tried the St.Ives Apricot Scrub, which teared my skin off like crazy. Since then, I haven't been exfoliating my skin. I just use Spectro Jel Cleanser and a moisturizer in the morning and at night. I have combination skin and very mild acne (mostly on chin). Do you recommend any good exfoliants/scrubs for me? I don't like abrasive scrubs, I want exfoliants that actually do the job like prevent blackheads and take away dead skin. Btw, are there cream exfoliants or peel-offs?
  9. Hi, I'm 17 years old girl. I have combination skin which consists of parrtially dry cheeks and oily T-zone. I have somewhat sensitive skin. After using Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, my face felt more oily than it used to be. It even made my cheeks pretty oily as well. I don't really have acne; I just get few pimple once in a while or so. Recently I found out that there's a product called Spectro Jel and that it works really well. It interested me even more because there are variety of Spectro Jels
  10. i don't really get what AHA is.. well, i know the meaning itself but i don't know the difference between AHA and exfoliants ? like what does AHA do and where is it found ? are moisturizers and AHA different ? & can you recommend some good AHA products, moisturizers, and exfoliants for combination skin ? please and thank you !
  11. I'm 17 years old girl and I have combination skin of which is partially dry cheeks and oily T-zone. I use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser which I think makes my skin a little more oily. It made my cheeks oilier though Anyways, there seems to be a problem with my chin. I don't really have any acne/pimple problem other than my chin. I get pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, underskin(?) acne, and such on my chin very frequently and leaves scars when healed. I don't even try to touch my face with my hands
