  1. Found out why I was breaking out ! I used to use benzoyl peroxide and stopped about 2 months ago and started to get a lot of little red bumps on my face slowly, but just recently I started using the BP again and the marks went away after 5 days . Smooth again
  2. I have been on Tretinoin .1% and tetracycline since June, about 2 months into it and my face was smooth as can be.. it has been 4 months about and I'm starting to get a lot of bumps on my forehead and some white heads on my cheeks.. WHAT IS GOING ON? i want my smooth skin back with no annoying bumps! the bumps on my forehead seem like clogged pores which i thought would go away no problem while on retin-a but it seems to not be working. Helppp me please!
  3. Okay, so I am on my 3rd month of using retin-a cream and I WAS clear until just recently when i started getting those little bumps on my forehead that you can only see when sun is shining on my face. They are very very annoying, is this happening because the comedogenic ingredient in the cream?
  4. you should post this in the accutane forums, they can probably give you a better answer.. and theres a lot more people than this forums. Sorry I can't give you an answer, I've never taken Accutane.. but I do take retin-a and have gotten pretty good results
  5. Hey! I was wondering, would you know if you breakout from getting a sunburn while on tretinoin.. because 2 weeks ago I was spotless and then once I got sunburned , I turned very dry and a lot of small bumps appeared. It was my 10th week of tretinoin

    1. ugh i should've known that before this all happened, i used some bp on my face AND retin-a ... very very bad mistake.. yesterday was the worst because my forehead had a lot of red bumps, but they are starting to settle down now. sorry to hear that :( , how big were yours? mine were pretty small but started to turn red.. but it went down after i stopped using tretinoin after 3 days. i have a few red marks though  ugh sorry about that reply to my own writing thing.. i'm really new to

    3. I used tretinoin .1% on my skin which was sunburned and after maybe 4 days of using it with burnt skin I was very dry and started to notice a lot of bumps appearing on my forehead and cheeks. Two weeks prior to this, I had no bumps what so ever anywhere.. if anyone has experienced this, PLEASE tell me how long this lasts!!
    4. I'm not sure if this is the cause of my breakouts but I started having a lot of little whiteheads while on retin-a and had a sunburn. We recently had a heatwave and I forgot to wear sunscreen . Someone please reply so I know not to apply the tretinoin for the next couple of days.
    5. yeah, i tried it the other day and my face was burning. It was probably because i was sunburnt from the day before (I'm not even sure i had sunburn or it was just the bp that burnt my skin.)
    6. Well, I have been on retin-a for about 10 weeks now and I was spotless for a long time until now.. a lot of little whiteheads have been popping up and I have those little annoying super small zits on my forehead.. will it stay like this? or is it just me getting a late initial breakout?? my forehead is turning read Please reply!
    7. Thanks a lot for replying so fast! Much appreciated
    8. Ok, so this is my third month using retin-a and Tetracycline I'm noticing a lot of these small bumps on my forehead . Can I have become immune to this antibiotic this fast?. I've heard that using benzoyl peroxide will kill the (I think 'mutant' acne) bacteria BUT I've heard that I shouldn't use benzoyl peroxide with retin-a. Would this be a good regime? ; Wash face with Cetaphil, then wash with benzoyl peroxide, and then apply retin-a. Please reply
    9. alright, so i'm on my 10th week and i've notice i'm getting these small pimples on my forehead and cheeks again.. it's very annoying. just 2 weeks ago it was perfect with nothing on it and i've never had any pimples on my nose , EVER. i've been wiping those spots sometimes though with the back of my hand because it's oily and i don't have a tissue handy.. can it be that?
