What finally got me clear
kazza replied to feelin_like_myself_again's topic in General acne discussion
Aha, I've answered my own question! It's surely Miracell you mean and it's a blend of different oils which is good for 37+ skin complaints. I can get it online here, 15mls for under £9 so if it doesn't work it's no biggie. Thanks for the advice and congrats on being clear. -

Hi there, What's this miracle skin topical and where do you get it? I'd like to investigate it for my many red marks. Cheers -
Well that's exactly what I've done yesterday and today! I feel like a complete and utter shit about it. It's not like I'm a perpetual liar ordinarily either so it all just culminates in this horrible guilt that's bloody awful. I keep trying to justify it to make myself feel better....."It's not like anyone's gonna die if I don't turn in, it's an inconvenience for my colleagues at worst" But I hate being off sick when it's genuine so this is just crap. You end up getting monitored if you're off t

How long have you had your red marks?

Has anyone tried derma-rolling? I was thinking, if it's aim is to increase collagen, it's gotta be effective in healing the skin right? Again, not a quick fix tho. I've had some for over a yr but the worst are on my chin and jaw area. I still break out there but I'm now making 100% effort into dealing with this externally and internally. I'm gonna start the ACV toner twice daily ( previously gave up after bout 3 days! ) and keep it up, also gonna dab emu oil on only effected areas ( previously -

Hi Smartie, Been reading and really enjoying this log. It's great the way you just chat on dead naturally, kind of like you would in a diary, and you're certainly talking about the stuff most of the girls on here can relate to! You're personality really comes across. I hope you're gonna keep us up to date with your journey, and just know that you're far from alone on it. I think every emotion you're going thru, others have experienced to ( even the husband and work thing and def the cosmetic

Hiya, I went on a high oestrogen pill and it made my boobs so painful constantly. I would also avoid it like the plague as, due to a bit of research I'd done, it can make you oestrogen dominant. Check out Dr John Lee as a good source, everyone else seems to cite him so just google and you'll find his site. I now, due to my bad experiences, don't trust GPs and I'd advise educating yourself first. At least then, when you do go see them, you're armed with the correct info and they can't bullshit

Hi Kitty, The only pill that worked OK for me, and I was on it for years, was Mercilon. However, my libido eventually diminished and I wondered if it was related so I went to the Practice Nurse who put me on Cileste as it has more oestrogen. That was awful, libido didn't return and my boobs were constantly, all month round, really painful and swollen. By that point I'd had enough and I've been BC pill - free for well over a yr. Didn't like the idea of all the fake hormones etc aswell. My GP a

Oooh I just started using this a few days ago! I'll let you know how I get on. Mine ( Trilogy ) doesn't smell of anything tho and I only currently use it at night mixed with jojoba oil. Might up it to day as well.

Totally can relate. I think my skin's improving no-end when I look in mirrors in the house. Bought my 1st car the other night and made the big mistake of looking in the rear view mirror. OMG! never again. Hate mirrors that show up every single imperfection. It makes you wonder how exactly other people see you. Is it like the bad mirrors or the good?

So I've been clear for several wks now but, as you can imagine, I've been REALLY reticent about coming on here and sharing this. A supersticious thing maybe ( touch wood quick! ) The action I was taking against the cursed acne consisted of the following; I used chlorhexadine to wash my face morning and night. Then I cut to just bedtime once improvement noted. I did a liver cleanse for 20 days. I adhered to this about 80%, so I wasn't dead strict. I just cut way down on the obvious culprits an

Hiya, congratulations on getting clear! How long have you been clear now? Also, what is the yoghurt meant to do? It's weird that avoiding eating sugar works but putting it on the skin is ok. I'm just scared i'll end up feeding the bacteria or something! cheers
