  1. I've had one on the back of my neck for 2 weeks... doesn't hurt any more though, but still there.
  2. Okay, so, I use Cuticura Mildly Medicated Soap on my skin which is quite, well, I'd say stripping, but it doesn't make my face dry afterwards. Anyhows, I usually use it only at night, but I thought today I would just try in the shower this morning too. So after I cleaned my face I notice that there's a lot of friction between my fingers and my skin on my face? Then after rubbing my fingers against my skin I'm noticing that it's starting to flake off, in little white balls and almost little
  3. Feeling kinda bad that nobody has replied to this... I honestly have no idea myself, since I have clogged pores on my forehead and temples, it's seriously pissing me off right now, the skin isn't dry there and it seems like it's not worth exfoliating. But a friend of mine suggested some sort of Garlic suppliment, and a few cloves of garlic chopped and put into boiling water for a steam, said it's a natural anti-inflamity and something or other... Having said that, I still try and squeeze them
  4. Hi, thank you for your reply! I have just bought an anti-dandruff Shampoo, been using it for a week now and no improvement, possible gotten a little worse! I'll give it a few more weeks then see a doctor!?!
  5. My forehead has always been clear, and completely smooth without a hint of blocked pores or acne. I've had problems with my temples before, and the rest of my face, nothing major - but they're fine at the moment too, but recently, probably in the last 2 months, my forehead has been getting worse and worse, and I'm just not really sure what's doing it? My temples also. I did, KINDA, switch my shampoo for a little while, but my forehead has been no oilier than usual?! And my hairstyle is the s
  6. Interesting... I had heard about "milia" and googled the term, and they look similar... but some of these have a dark center, like a blackhead, but not like a blackhead, if that makes sense? :S
  7. Okay so I have these little white bumps on my temple... I've noticed they've been there only since around about Christmas, so, 3 or so months... They don't hurt, they don't itch, they just stay exactly like that and I've never had them before!? I don't have them anywhere else on my face or body, but, there is actually one or two that I noticed this week, coming up in exactly the same place on the other side. My skincare regime is simply to wash once per night with Olay Regenerist Cleanser, an
  8. Thanks guys, the above poster raises some good points, and I will also give Jojoba Oil a try first, and if that doesn't work, look into finding some acne specific products!? Thanks
  9. In the summer of 2010, I went away from home for a week and forgot to pack a moisturizer. In that week I noticed that all of my pimples completely disappeared. Then when I came back home, they re-appeared again. I tried to think of what I did that was different, and alI I could think of was that I used a moisturizer. So I changed moisturizer. Nothing happened, still got them the day or 2 days after applying moisturizer, and if I stopped using moisturizer, no new ones would appear. In the l
  10. I mean, really, has he ever even had Acne? His skin looks perfect and there are no photographs that I can find of him where you can actually see that he has acne. So if this is the case how can he claim that all these products work and that he's not really just using this site and our ailment as a way of making money? And another thing that seems funny is that in all the reviews on this site, all the ACNE.ORG cleansers are at the top of the list, don't get me wrong the community and forums are
  11. I've been using ACV for the last 2 or so years now, on and off, mainly as a toner, 50/50 with spring water. I'm just not sure it's actually doing me any good, I think it might be starting to irritate my skin, and I was thinking of just making my skincare routine as simple as possible and cutting it out. So, do I really need to use a toner? If so are there better toners out there than ACV?
  12. Phew! That is some comfort knowing that I'm not the only one!
  13. I was just browsing through my bathroom cabinet today and I realized that I horde everything that I've used on my face - be it a success or not so much. I came up with a brilliant idea - because partly I was bored - that I'd take a picture of all the products that I've used in the last 12 months. Some of these I've used multiple times, some I only used once or twice, some I only used for one application but here they are from left to right. Calamine LotionSurgical SpiritSkinfood Mud MasqueS
  14. So the dark spots in the mask are literally the pores being emptied? Oil and such? My skin is far from flawless, compared to some other people I've got pretty good skin yes, but I'm still self concious enough to feel like it could be a lot better :\ hopefully I'll grow out of it? I just wanted to know what was happening to my pores when I used this mask, and whether it was the mask that wasn't working properly, or whether it was doing it's job pretty well. Thanks for the replies people
