  1. I've had 2 subcision treatments now. I don't know if there's results YET but my dermatologist says that it will take months or years to see results. It requires patience. Anyways, no, it didn't give me any more scarring. Also, it's not really painful. I thought that it would be but it isn't. It feels like a pinch. That's about it. If I can handle the treatment, you can handle it too
  2. I was like you. I didn't take care of my face during my teenage years because I figured it would go away on its own. Boy, was I wrong. So what I did was change the way I eat (I eat lots of healthy foods. So, more fruits and vegetables. I also avoid soda and mostly drink water) And I clean my face using Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. I can tell you this, it DEFINITELY works. also, I'd like to add, acne is mysterious. It's still unknown why some people are more prone to acne than others. Remembe
  3. I don't think it's funny. Like I said, I know how you feel. You're in tons of pain right now. But hopefully, as time pass by, better things will happen to you in the future
  4. I know how you feel. Acne sucks. But I just gotta say, God is not a genie..... Also, selling your soul to the devil, just to have clear skin, is not worth it. Just be thankful for the things you got. Other people in this world are worst off than you (for example, be thankful that you don't have AIDS or cancer) All I can say is, just hope for better days to come. Like me. At first, life sucked but as time passed by, my life keeps getting better and better......
  5. Your Mom sucks in my opinion. She doesn't know what it feels like to have acne. Some people don't know that popping a pimple is BAD. I agree that she should apologize to you. You deserve it
  6. Acne is random. You'll have it when you're 16, 17, 29, 31, etc and you'll never know when you'll "grow out" of it. Acne requires tons of patience. It may vanish in a couple of months or years. You're "cured" of acne if you have clear skin. But just because you've gotten clear, doesn't mean you won't get it again. Once you're clear, you have to continue taking care of yourself. Don't be irresponsible....
  7. I use Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and it works wonders for me. I love it. Well, people do have different skin.....
  8. Wow, I'm sorry to hear about the irritation. If I were you, I'd go see a doctor. I hope everything will be better for you soon.
  9. Sup Caroliona. It's been a while. I'm doing great. I'm just busy with college right now. Can't wait to graduate....

    1. hola :)

      how have you been?

      1. I work out and it never worsened my acne. Working out has many benefits. For example, it strengthens your bones. It can help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. It strenghtens your hearts and lungs. Etc so, don't worry, go out and work out. There's nothing bad about it
