I'm highly interested in the Bible and my relationship with God. But besides my religion stuff, I like to look up random things on the internet. I like weird, random facts. I find it very amusing to do things that I have never done before. I keep busy, If I can't think of anything to do I'll have a coffee and try again. Amusement parks, new york city, traveling, sports, anything of that nature is always fun. Oh and you can't forget friends.
  1. Are you on Dan's Regimen? If you are you should check out the biggest mistakes page: http://www.acne.org/regimen-biggest-mistakes.html If you are having trouble with moisturizers; Dan's moisturizer is great, but i believe cetaphil is just as good, but either way, throw in some Jojoaba oil into the mixture and it will get the job done. If still, your having trouble moisturizing, I do this thing called a Jojoaba oil mask. I believe "Cool as Kim" or someone posted a topic about it. All you do is,
  2. Well beautiful girl, where is the before pictures? oh and glad to see your clear, you must be so much more confident and happy now. good for you .
  3. I don't know what you are describing, but maybe you should try Dan's regimen? It will help rid acne if that's what you are describing. Then after a month, you can get some AHA to help fade away red marks. You might want to go visit a dermatologist though, because I don't know what you are describing.
  4. Yeah, if you can't do it there, just do it before you leave and then the next morning.
  5. I don't know much about your cleanser or moisturizer, but make sure they are very light and don't have any acne treatment stuff in it, just very basic cleanser and moisturizer. You might want to check out this thread: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/state-min...rn-t117898.html and take a look at the biggest mistakes page to see if you are doing anything wrong http://www.acne.org/regimen-biggest-mistakes.html Just remember, when getting used to the regimen be sure to use a small amount of B
  6. Looks like some post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation mixed with some mild acne. I would suggest you get on the DKR regimen and use AHA after a month of being on the regimen to help fade away the pigmentation. The best thing you can do now is to prevent any more acne from forming, because pigmentation can be there for up to 6 months and you don't want any new ones from new acne.
  7. This AHA can probably be found in a store near you: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...qIYRcFzXUEOnHRA
  8. It sounds like you are clear, you just have post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation and possibly scars. Never pick at them, or any other pimple for that matter, it will just make things worse. If your skin really is as sensitive as you are describing you could get some jojoba oil and gently massage it on your face before you go to sleep every night. It is high in vitamin E and it's very similar to the human sebum, so our skin accepts it very gently and well. It should help speed up the healing pr
  9. Here is a list of a few moisturizers with more than half containing SPF-15: http://www.acne.org/findingsupplies2.php#step3 and this is Dan's recommendation: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...CF4mqdreD4DmUBQ
  10. The only thing sunscreen will help with is the appearance of those marks. Usually if you are going to be out in the sun, the marks will get more bright, but the sunscreen will help it so that doesn't happen. I'm not an expert on this, but there is many threads on this in the red marks forum, here is just one thread: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Recommend...s-R-t14887.html Anyway, jojoba oil and AHA are 2 things that seem like they are fading away my red marks.
  11. I'm assuming your going to be staying at a hotel or something? We'll if that's the case, you still can use the regimen before you go to sleep and when you wake up. You might want to pick up a bottle of Olay Complete Sensitive Skin with SPF 15 for a moisturizing sunscreen. All I can say, really, is just try your best to stick to the regimen. Dirt and sweat don't cause acne. So it shouldn't affect the regimen's effectiveness much.
  12. Look like a little scarring and post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation, I hope I said that right. Jojoba Oil and AHA supposedly help speed up the healing process of hyper-pigmentation. But either way, for both it will just take time. The important thing to do now, is to stay on the regimen and prevent future break outs that could cause more pigmentation and scars. http://www.acne.org/faq.html#redmarks
  13. Spot treat with Dan's AHA. I did it for the first time today on an active white head and it shrank the pimple so that it was almost unnoticeable in an hour.
  14. I'm not a long term user, but why would you switch your regimen when you experienced very great results from the one you've had? As for the dangers of BP: http://www.acne.org/faq.html#cancer
