  1. I feel pretty embarrassed but I when I double checked the vitamin label for the the zinc dosage was 50 mg not 300 mg. I have no idea how I mixed those two up. So I'm taking about 150mg a week for zinc, which I think would be pretty safe since it's under recommended daily dosages. As for which I think is helping the acne I have no real idea since I have always taken them together. I have been taking the two vitamins for about four weeks at this point and I continue to improve. I take the dosage three times a week so it would work out to something like 1500 mg vitamin A a week and 900 Mg of zinc a week. or about 200 mg vitamin A a day and 130 mg of zinc a day so I thought that would be pretty safe. I have read that vitamin A and Zinc can cause toxicity if overdosed so Intentionally spread it out to almost every other day. Oddly though both vitamins on the bottle say that I can take a pill daily.

Hi all, I'm a 28 year old guy and I found this place a few months ago because I was just about ready to try Accutane due to my moderate-severe acne that did not respond at all too proactiv and Skin ID. I wanted to see if there was anything else that I could try and I was pretty much willing to try anything.   4. So it's been over a week now and I'm noticing improvement. Other concurrent factors to consider is the dramatic change in weather in my area (cold to warm). One other thing is that I have reduced my skin products usage from all the Skin ID products to just the mask. I'm taking pictures every few days as proof.   5. I have had moderate to severe acne since I was in HS (am close to 30 now). I have tried Proactiv, and Skin ID to no noticeable effect. I'm lactose intolerant so I have a significantly reduce intake of milk products, I sleep well and have a easy job. I don't want to try accutane since I'm worried about the side effects so I think I'll try this out. I'm assuming I should see results pretty quickly if this does work for me.
