A LOT cheaper than jojoba oil...10$ for 16oz bottle of organic trader joes extra virgin olive oil. L-O-V-E what this product has done for my skin..use it w/ the regimen just as you would the jojoba oil. It's uses are endless..face, body, hair, lips. I really haen't found any yet..it's been 3 weeks. It could be the cause of some very small minor blackheads on chin...but you would need a magnifying glass to see them. The benefits FAR outweigh this small issue I am obsessed w/ this stuff! I use it everyday.. and my skin is looking better than ever. it helps reduce irritation caused by BP and gives your skin an amazing glow.
My suggestions for use
-quarter size in the palm of your hands, rub into face first thing in morning before washing. Really massage it in for about 5 min. Rinse with warm water, then gentley cleanse with a mild cleanser.(if you have sensitive acne prone skin like mine that tends to get dried out from the bp..it's ok if after cleansing if you still feel a slight film on your face. I find this to be a protective barrier.) Pat dry.
-also makes a great face and body scrub just mix with sugar (great for exfoliating your lips too!)
-comb through dry hair before getting in shower (give it a generous coat concentrating on ends) then just shampoo and condition as normal. AMAZING!! Do this as often as needed it's so good for your hair
I can't say enough good things about this product! I have struggled with breakouts for years..and would never have thought in a million years of using oil on my face. i think i speent sooo much time drying out my skin by over using acne products that I just kept making it worse and more painful. Being gentle and calming your skin is so important, i wish i had learned this earlier.
*i am 29 and this is a great remedy for my aging, acne prone, sensitive skin..i do not know if the results would be the same for oily severe acne or teenage acne.
