Pros:

NONE!!!

Cons:

PLEASE BRING THE OLD FORMULA BACK!! i HAVEN'T HAD CLEAR SKIN SINCE YOU HAD THE ORIGINAL MOISTURIZER. THIS MOISTURIZER IS THE WORST AND I CANT FIND ANY OTHER MOISTURIZER SUITABLE FOR MY SKIN WHILE ON THE REGIME SO, MY ACNE GETS WORST AND WORST.

While on the original regime, i had clear skin. I haven't achieved clear skin or any success while on the new regime.

Pros:

What pros?

Cons:

It's yellow, it takes hours to absorb, sits on the skin, causes flakiness.. Or maybe it's the lack of hydration that maintains flakiness caused by the BP. Smells awful.

Ineffective. The old formula was better, but caused shininess and small clogs. I've since switched to Bioderma's Hydrabio Light, and it's the best! Way better than the old and new formulas. It's more expensive though, but my face is worth it. Completely clear now!!!

Pros:

Fragrance free, inexpensive, does not cause breakouts!!!!

Cons:

Yellow color

At 40 years old I started having severe cystic breakouts along my jawline, the side of my cheeks and occasionally around my mouth. After googling 'acne' a million times trying to find answers, I clicked on this site that kept coming up and started reading. I was skeptical, but had nothing to lose. If I had before and after photos to show I would! This has been a miracle really, I am so grateful to Dan. I nave never written a review on anything, but I feel this is so important! The regimen works!

Pros:

it is an ok moisturiser if you're not using BP!!!

Cons:

not moisturising enough!!
Still makes my face shine
Need to use LOADS which takes long to sink in

Was using a different moisturiser, been on the regimen for 2 month, never had any flaky skin, and then swapped to this and now my skin feels horrible and flaky!!
February 9, 2013

Pros:

completely non comedogenic, helped restore my skin's lipid barrier and the lichochalcone (?) calms my skin when it is irritated

i like it so much with the jojoba oil...i gave a bottle to my friend and she keeps thanking me. She and i had both stopped moisturizing because a lot of moisturizers clog pores...but not moisturizing really weakens skin and it becomes a downward spiral. i am so very happy to be moisturizing again.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Doesn't moisturize effectively; leaves skin feeling sticky and uncomfortable, and flaky. With prolongued use, skin takes on a yellow tinge, especially when you use as much as you're directed to (initially 2 pumps, later Dan's update stated to 'just use more' if it wasn't working). Stains clothing and fabrics. Smells bad. It's yellow.

It's 2013 and I still miss Dan's old moisturizer. It was light, moisturizing, and left your skin feeling refreshed and radiant. It was undeniably a better moisturizer; the ratings speak for themselves. I got tired of the uncomfortable feeling the new moisturizer leaves you with, and switched to Neutrogena's oil-free moisturizer for sensitive skin. It's not even close to Dan's old moisturizer, but still way better than the terrible new moisturizer by acne.org.

Pros:

-Light
-It is absorbed nicely
-Keeps skin from flaking throughout whole day
-Works even when my skin is exposed to freezing temperatures

Cons:

-Stains white clothes
-Sometimes burns upon application (but may just be
my very sensitive skin)
-Expensive

More effective in keeping my face from flaking than Cetaphil and Cerave.

Pros:

VERY lightweight - like liquid silk
Absorbs Quickly
Doesn't cause breakouts
It has regulatory ingredients which have helped curve my oil production.

Cons:

NO SPF(remember skin needs sun protection throughout ALL seasons)
Gives moisture but KEEPING that moisture throughout the day is an issue
A bit of a greasy look in the daytime

The bottom line is that is the lotion for those that are seeking: a NIGHT lotion( it doesn't contain ANY sun protection) that doesn't feel heavy on the skin, is gentle, and provides moderate moisture. Best for 3 out of 4 seasons. In winter it is wise to move on to a petrolatum based product.

Pros:

None, really. Seems to work for others.

Cons:

-Stained my pillowcases permanently- and yes, I gave it plenty of time to dry/soak in (30 minutes).
-Broke me out again, after my skin was looking so much better on the regimen.

I'd been using the Olay with sunscreen for sensitive skin that is recommended, which worked great but wasn't quite moisturizing enough with the regimen. Switched to this even though there were some negative reviews...which I am adding to. Waste of money and a couple of pillowcases, although I've wasted plenty in my search for stuff to clear my skin- so I was prepared for the fact that this might not work.
