Many people would probably wonder what sets on top of the list of natural oils. Before proving the advantage of Shea butter, it is best to know of the following facts.

Almost all seed oils available today is divided into two vital parts namely the saponifiable fraction and nonsaponafiable fraction. The first is filled with moisture while the former consists of the healing properties. These two parts of seed oils work perfectly together, moisturizing and healing the skin which is exactly what is needed to care for the skin. The skin tends to get dry due to various reasons. Such dryness is responsible for the loss of moisture in the skin thereby prompting the skin to suffer even more and where healing becomes an urgent need.

radiates and exudes from the rest of the seed oils due to the large portion it contains for healing. The skin needs to be healed before the problems become worse. Finding and treating the root cause of the problem are always the best actions to generate the most excellent results. The healing part of includes some of the most important nutrients and vitamins essential to the skin and its healing. It also contains significant phytonutrients necessary for the cure of the skin conditions. When the healing fraction of the seed oil is greater, the better effects it produces to the skin.

While contains larger portions of healing properties, other seed oils only include small parts of such properties. These seed oils usually are exceptional for moisturizing but are poor in healing the skin. In addition to the large healing properties of Shea butter, its moisturizing properties are also admirable. Regular or constant use of such butter will have positive results in various skin problems. Its effectiveness is explained by its remarkable properties especially the healing part. No wonder about the marvel it brings, its name says it all. Shea tree is derived from the karite tree which is equivalent to tree of life.

Taken from the bean of Shea tree, Shea butter is naturally made without any intervention of chemicals or preservatives. When used for skin care, Shea butter is made more effective because it is safe and only comprises of natural ingredients. Other beauty products contain harsh chemicals which are obviously not made to treat the root of the skin problems instead work only on the surface of the skin. However, such effects are never helpful. In fact, these products make the conditions worse plus they may create new problems caused by skin irritations. The choice of all natural and pure is still the most appropriate for any type of skin. Because it contains natural ingredients, it does not have adverse effects on the skin.

Shea Butter Application

Consistent use of every after bath or twice each day, once in the morning and another in the evening, produces more desirable results. Shea butter solidifies at room temperature yet amazingly melts once applied on the skin. It easily gets absorbed by the skin and penetrates deep down into the different layers. It goes through the deepest parts of the skin to treat the cause of skin problems as it brings the lost moisture back into the skin.

I wanted to just chime in that I agree shea butter is fantastic for the skin. A year or so ago, I would have never thought of putting it on my face.

I use it at night after washing my face. I use 100 unrefined shea butter. A very small amount is all that is needed. I work it into my face and jaw line. It's greasy, so it works best at night. In the morning, my skin is smoother and brighter. I alternate between my glycolic acid and shea butter at night. Great stuff.

No regimen is one-size-fits-all. You are unique and so is your skin.

Black soap - Lumiplexion Salicylic Acid ~ Lumiplexion SPF 30 ~ Lumiplexion moisturizer

Black soap ~ Lumiplexion Glycolic Acid 12% (3-4x week) ~ Lumiplexion Hydroquinone 1-2x week

Lumiplexion enzyme mask / sulfur mask / moisturizing mask 1-2 week as needed
