Elastagen. Allergan purchased it  after they completed trials. They are in the process of bringing it on the market. Also if you are in Asia look into Rejuran.
from what i could tell elastagen is like a filler....it treats rolling scars but not ice picks and boxcar scars....that's according to the study they're conducting

These news didn't say that the technology doesn't work, they just said the management of SkinTE didn't disclose crucial and mandatory informations to investors and, because of that, they committed a serious crime and will rightfully be sanctioned.

The thing is, their patent got rejected.....now, I'm not familiar how things exactly work in the US, but in the EU a patent usually gets rejected because it already exist something that do the same thing. It doesn't mean the SkinTE doesn't work, but only that somebody else patented something very similar to SkinTE before PolarityTE.

The question here is: Who did that? And why we never heard about them?

I don't want to discard SkinTE just yet.
Yeah it didn't result in scarless healing for big, deep wounds but we don't have such large wounds.

Can it be injected instead of applied after excising all layers of skin? could it works better on smaller wounds?
we have to wait to have our answers to these questions.

the thing is, PolarityTE is focused on treating large burns and wounds right now and haven't set their sight on the cosmetic market. Who knows when they'll experiment on using SkinTE (a derivative) to treat very small, medium depth acne scars....

Anybody knows, roughly speaking, how long will it take for sunogel to complete the clinical trials and go to the market? Hope it's less than 5 years

Those pics are brutal and honestly, I'm surprised it did anything at all for a lot of them in the varying university's presentation. However, yes, while it may be an improvement over STSG, I don't see anything yet to suggest this will work for us. I'm curious about the fact they are getting all three layers of skin to regenerate (according to the punch biopsy) but that it looks quite different than native skin. Perhaps it will still improve over time, but we should hold them to their burden of promising complete regeneration with all appendages and appearances like normal skin.

The stock dropped because Citron accused them of outright fraud. These pics may have also had something to do with it, but the last time Citron wrote something negative (just two weeks ago I believe) the stock also plummeted. Again, forget the stock price for the most part. SurgicalScar's post (since deleted I guess) was right about that and even though he was accusing me of being a shill, the posts he quoted were actually the two of us in complete agreement. Stocks fluctuate for all kinds of reasons and a lot of investors are just following trends and charts to make their moves. But if someone with a little name recognition accuses a company of fraud, a big drop is what you get.
I think you need to listen to their presentation from the conference and look at the slides to get the full picture. Remember, the slides were there for reference as a presenter spoke about them. So listen and follow along and you'll get better context.
I've just read the Citron report, that looks quite bad tbh
They haven't disclosed the fact the patent application got rejected and they profited by selling the stocks. Stock is down 35% now and it's well deserved

Of course that doesn't prove the product doesn't work, but the pics showed today aren't good.
The wounds treated looked terrible and maybe on scars like ours SKINTE can regenerate skin better but still....I expected better

Just saw all the pics, definitely didn't like the results

Of course we're talking about much worse scars that ours but still....that's not scarless healing

About Sunogel: they say they still have to go clinical trials...does that mean their product is 10 years away?
    Or are there shortcuts?

i think you have seen grafts pics...look at last pics thry are of skinTe and one above i posted is of after 1 month that pic look promising
It's not good man, trust me....I want them to succeed but the pics are bad....indeed the stock price is plummeting, almost -20% after the pics appeared

Don't know what to think anymore, I'm quite pessimistic now

I've read the newest article that someone posted here. The guy said that the new skin looks remarkably like normal skin...
Dont know what to think about this sentence. They keep playing the silent game. Maybe we will see better pictures on Monday! Even an improvement of 80 Percent would be great. Better than nothing! But according to this doctor it looks remarkably like NORMAL skin... Its confusing because according to Lough it is normal human skin so why they say that it looks like it....?
I think they mean that the "paste" they apply turns to human skin

    Being pessimistic won't help.

Many of us have disfiguring body scars, SkinTE is the only product that can potentially treat us.
It's not scarless healing? Who cares....personally I don't suffer from BDD, I'd be the happiest guy on the planet if my disfiguring scarring on the back improves to "minimal scarring".

And even today PolarityTE is up another 6%, maybe some insiders have some pics/info we don't have yet

PolarityTe is up another 6% today. This is a very good news for two reason:

    1) It means that investors (mainly big funds that have access to yet to be disclosed info or insiders) have had very good news.

    2) More money means more funds for the company so it can expands and develop quicker

Minimal scarring would be awesome for people like me with disfiguring scars on the back.
    I hope it's true

Personally I believe SkinTE works, if not scarless healing at least to get a very good improvement (like 70/80% on body scars).
The problem is to find a willing surgeon to perform it on ACNE SCARRING and not just BURNS.
I hope in some emphatetic and kind surgeon who understand our plight and won't scorn us just because we seek a treatment that is mainly intended for burns.

The leftovers can easily be covered by a tattoo or further improved by current treatment

I actually re-listened to the presentation SkinTE did last week and I actually changed my mind a little bit. It looks promising, they said 2019 for complete commercial rollout and I hope it's true.
I don't care about scarless healing, an 80% improvement would be considered a totale cure (miracle) for me, compared to the actual 10% improvement current treatments offer (FOR BACK, NOT FACE).

SkinTE really is our only hope to cure our problem without waiting years.

As for the "white flat spots" I have no idea if it's acne, scars or some allergic reaction.
The explanations I read online (follicular macular atrophy ecc) don't seem convincing to me and dermatologists couldn't exactly tell me what they are and consequently couldn't tell me how to get rid of them.

They keep appearing on my upper arms and shoulders (and a bit on the chest) and if they don't go away immediately they stay there forever.
Ironically they started to appear when acne (the common type of acne) stopped to torment me. I wonder if it's just another "version" of acne.....acne that appear after a certain age, It seems that teenagers don't get these white flat spots but they appear on individuals that suffered from acne for years and are a bit older now (early/mid 20's and up).

They seem to appear much more with hot weather and they don't appear that much with cold weather (but the ones already there keep staying there even with cold weather).

They are very ugly and the only thing to camouflage them is to tattoo over them since they all are on the upper arms/shoulders....a well placed tattoo would make them invisible

Birchbiomed is doing clinical trials and Allergan is coming up with a new product soon. Also people are getting great results with Rejuran S in asia. You are wrong.
I don't believe in any of them, especially to treat HUNDREDS of deep scars in the back

And it takes on average 15 years for a new drug to complete all clinical trials....so even if a new substance is discovered today we won't be able to get treated by it before 2030

skinTE is for burns and large wounds dont expect to use it for acne scars polarityte will come with a DERIVIATIVE product for cosmetics so will take time even if skinte works will for burn i dont think 2020 will be they year we cure our problems

Well, don't know if having hundreds of scars on the back can be considered a cosmetic problem...
They must allow to use Skinte to treat acne scars or we're fucked...I mean I'd understand if they don't want to risk it on the face...but on the body there shouldn't be any problem

I want to be optimistic but I really don't think we will have an acne scars cure soon.

And before somebody come here and say "we already have!", then you clearly don't understand what kind of acne scars I have. Look at my pics and you'll understand.

PolarityTE is our only chance to get a cure within 2020, if it fails nothing new will come before 2030

Last year we thought that regeneration was about to take a couple of weeks, now we're talking about one year! It's such a huge difference....

Look at PolarityTE website....it shows advanced healing in a swine model in just 10 DAYS.

That's what we were thinking the timing was.....it's not like that anymore, we don't even know if it's going to regenerate skin....

I'm not that optimistic anymore, I'll wait for updates but I'm getting pessimistic....

    I also MUST mention this.

Lots of people here disregarded the results showed by RenovaCare as shitty and bad but they're so much better than the ones showed by PolarityTe.

This is what RenovaCare regenerated in 4 days (I repeat 4 DAYS not 4 MONTHS like SkinTE).

Indeed, even if this works, you're completely crazy if you think any surgeon would do that on your face because of some acne scars.

You're lucky if you'll find a surgeon willing to do that on your BODY (not face) to fix acne scars.

  25. Scarless Healing

Not that impressed by the 12 weeks pic but I gotta admit the area is very big and for us the area to treat is much smaller so it should regenerate better.

I remember last year we were saying the same things

They have to make an announcement about possibility to use SkinTE even for acne scars.

I'd do it immediately, it's on my back and really need that. My life is shit because of scars

We're almost in June and still no announcement about possibilities of getting this treatment for patients with acne scars.

How much longer do we have to wait? My life is ruined if I can't fix my scars. So tired of waiting.

I hope we can get this done by the end of the year or fuck it....it also takes 6 months to regenerate the skin, it's not quick
