Well it's been a week finally. I haven't seen any drastic improvement yet but I am trying to stay positive. For one thing, my face is a lot less red and my pimples no longer look the least bit inflamed. However, this is probably because the Acanya gel is drying out my skin. It could be worse, but I am able to control all the dryness/peeling but putting on moisturizer twice a day. Currently, I have three pimples on my right side: all in a neat little row near my mouth. I have a weird flat pimple on my chin (oddest thing I've ever seen in my life). My left side seems to be clearing up nicely but there is still some discoloration. I feel like drying my skin out on the discolored areas may make it worse, but I'm going to continue doing it anyway so I don't get a breakout. Anyways, I've been reading reviews about the Acanya and Atralin combo and it seems like it works for most people but it takes time. I haven't had an initial breakout per se yet and I sincerely hope I don't. Supposedly, it has to get worse before it gets better. I'm not a very patient person so this is a huge test for me. I know that if things do get worse I'm going to be completely miserable but no matter what I have to stick this out for at least 4 months to see where it goes. If it works, I honestly don't know what I'll do. It would be a complete life changer. Maybe I could even start modelling again?!? Well I don't wanna get my hopes up too high but I really can't wait to see clear skin. I am sick of being jealous of people who really are just "normal". I'm the abnormal one with bad skin. They aren't necessarily "lucky", just "normal". That's how I see it anyway.
