Scar Faders!

Okay, so my cystic flax seed breakout has gotten better, and I really don't want to have scars when I am going to the caribbean in a week! So, I have done some research and:

massaging is good for scars because it promotes healing

MSM mixed with real fresh squeezed lemon juice, works as a little mini peal and MSM is great for promoting healing

I don't even know what these are anymore! The only think weird in my diet, has been the flax. But why is this happenign to my face! ? It's still the same spots from my last post, but they have mutated and become red! I have been exfoliating too much, probs why my face is so red. Deff with only exfoliate next week Friday. UGH! I will be seeing my boyfriend Sunday! I hope this gets under control What is with these spots! Is this really from flax! my gosh!


June 15th (2 days later):


Obviously seems to be new pimple cropped up yesterday, whatevsssss. These dark spots, are mostly scabs, so not fully healed or scarred skin yet. I really want them to heal and flake off so that I can start scar fading stuffs! Well, at-least I can cover them up with makeup! Neutrogena makeup, woot woot! I've got a grad party today and don't care about my skin cause I can cover it up!

I had been using a clean and clear moisterizer with 0.5 salicylic acid in it...but I don't think it's helping, if anything it's making my skin irritated and worse. It like tingles and has a cooling sensation when I put it on...I don't really like that. If anything. I'll be using it as a SPOT treatment! BAH. Me and my product dilemmas eusa_wall.gif. Just cleansed with some castor oil. Think my skin is thanking me for the hydration and nourishment instead of harshness -___-

Hoping this super heals by Friday! I see my boyfriend Sunday!! Hello Caribbean! Hello the love of my life!

Update June 17th (4 days later): Woot! Skin is clearing up! I'm way less stressed, eating whole and healthy! I'm so happy! Getting my nose pierced and eyebrows done for the first time ever on Thursday! Such a busy week with good friends! So happy! Hiding in my house is no way to live!

Update! June 20th (one week later) I'm healed up very nicely. With a touch of makeup, I'm very comfortable! I just got my nose pierced and am going to the caribbean Sunday for 6 weeks! I'm excited! I just got some Vitex (hormone berry) and Burdock Root for my liver. Hopefully these only help! WOOTTTTT! Oh, I also suspect some iron deficiency...or something...some cascade or something missing that has to do with iron absorption!

July 9th (My Flicken Birthday!)

Alright, so I only ever took two vitex pills, one a week for two weeks, and I had the worst PMS in my life! I was moody, sad, no sex drive for a whole week before my period even came! I would cry and my period came a little early, but I attributed that to being intimate with my boyfriend. I have also been breaking out really weirdly, and stopped eating anything with excess b vitamins and any multis with b viamins and iodine. I have been going to the bathroom the most in my life! And my tummy is flat and not bloated anymore! I'm eating tons of greens and whole healthy caribbean food! I have stopped using Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisterizer, eventhough it's supposed to be non-comedogenic, i'm sure it's been clogging my pores cause my skin and neck have little bumps and I only have the bumps on one side of my neck where I just started putting the lotion! I'm so mad that I just realized this cause I've been using it for about a month now, everyday, sometimes twice a day with refusing to believe that it could be worsening my skin. I also stopped using black soap, which was too dying and irritating. I also shouldn't have been using that. Well, it's a learning process. I am now using nothing to wash my body or face except water and natural soap in my special nether regions. I can't believe I've been so dumb and torturing my face! I have the worst luck with products! I now know to test them on my neck, because my neck is just as sensitive as my face. I've been steaming and cleansing with some diluted red lavender tincture which has calmed my inflammation from the products. Today is my birthday and I'm as hell going to make the best of it. I'm now even affraid to use the nuetrogena non comedogenic sunscreen I bought sad.png, but one day of not wearing sunscreen won't kill me and I'll do the patch test. I would like to know that if something I eat or that if constipation is causing my skin to flare that I won't have to worry if it's some product I'm using. So i'm sticking to my caveman routine and introducing natural oils and the lavender cleanse to see if this helps! Yay for learning! 20 years old and 6 years later still with acne but learning. I sure hope it's not ten years with acne. I remember reading boards and it's like that for some people! It's definitely improved and I've learned a lot In these past 6 years. Hopefully this is the last year! 21 and acne free I sure hope to be!

Any little variable, like a product in your hair or something you thought was helping your skin could be actually harming it. Always do a patch test and listen and feel out how your skin is reacting.

"i have been taking vitex for almost a month now and am due to start my first period on vitex on the i have for the past 6+ months before taking vitex. it's the 7th and i'm bloated, have had a nearly recurring headache for three weeks now, cramping more than normal for a first day of the cycle type of pain...only 6 days from the cycle start date, and my sex drive over the past month has nearly disappeared, which is NOT good for me or my partner. i am throwing the vitex away!!"

I just ordered some vitex, burdock, and milk thistle! I'm so excited!

You know what! I'm going to go to Tobago with my boyfriend clear! And if I'm not...well who the hell cares! I will not be as stressed, and if I slip up and eat something with gluten or sugar in it....then so be it! I hope this vitex and liver cleansers kick my body into shape!

I'm getting my HCL today, and will in-fact no for sure if I have low or normal stomach acid with the HCL test!

I spent so much of my college job savings on my acne, and I hope it's all worth it! I will finish out all my supplements!

Okay...So my skin has cleared up miraculously since this new regime! I would be going from 55% clear to 90 percent in less than 3 weeks, BUT I have the weirdest two spots on my left cheek. They are swollen little red spots. Not even pimple like. almost hive like, except not really itchy except every once in a while. I feel like I got them overnight, probably not though. I'm putting up pictures of them. Been getting the weirdest spots ever lately, but clearing up. Hopefully those baked beans I was craving won't have adverse effects.

This could be anything though. Could be the last of my multivitamin, a detox reaction, who knows! I just hope it goes away and stays away! I always get so close and have something holding me back.

Alright, and I ate a handful of rice chex cereal, and then woke up with these spots, but i'm not sure if a reaction could happen so fast? I mean it's really hard to know what spots are from these days. I also have been eating flax pancakes more than usual. Ate one yesterday with cherries and cinnamon in it. Could have been anything. I'm not sure if a reaction would happen so fast either! HMM!

The last two photos I took this morning...last night I put a glob of raw honey on the swollen spots and covered em with a bandaid...hence the bandaid outline. So weird. I think they are from the flax. I mean sooooo much omega 3 was in the pancakes I had, phytoestrogens and Flax really isn't that compatible for most people. I really think most anyways. Should stay away from soy and flax. I really don't even like supplements with soybean oil in it. A little could be tolerated I'm sure, but any bit too much has gotta be bad. I mean these are plants we shouldn't even eat. Flax wasn't well known until a couple years ago, and now it's everywhere. I don't really think many nuts and seeds should be consumed. what I am still attributing to my flax breakout has gotten worse...Just got my HCL pills! Took 3, don't actually know if I felt a burning. I will continue to take them. Hopefully this clear up by Monday.

I really believe low stomach acid and vitamin + mineral deficiencies are a serious part of acne.

I have been doing the oxy powder cleanse and getting liquid stools. I have far less bloating since doing these supplements.

I took chromium with my baked beans, which would probably normally spike my blood sugar. But I also took ACV, cause I haven't received my HCL pills. My skin was clearing up a little, except for these weird deep bumps on my left jaw/cheek. I was craving them. Been really craving b vitamin foods lately, and have no desire to eat any protein like meats at all! When I was a child, I was practically a carnivore and would poop as soon as I started to eat. Something is so wrong and I only have 2 more weeks to fix it before I go see my boyfriend and his family who expect me to be beautiful and I sure don't feel it!

So...I was wondering why my OXY Powder has done nothing, and they said if you have low stomach acid, it would be ineffective and to take it with some lemon juice or Apple Cider Vinegar. Well...I think I've been battling with low stomach acid for a while without knowing it! I am upping ACV and lemons to do the trick, and ordering 120 capsules of HCL to hopefully cure this problem.

My skin is clearing up! Got my Simple brand face scrub that I trust very much, can't believe I ever tried to replace it with a YES product eusa_wall.gif .

Feeling really good about this finding!

No wonder I'm so constipated, and no appetite, and bloated, and completely lost my desire to eat protein!

Everything remedied to help low HCL has been linked to improving acne as-well...interesting

  • Cider vinegar: Eating a salad with a cider vinegar dressing before a meal will help acidify the stomach and aid in digestion.
  • Ascorbic acid (vitamin C): combined with your vitamin and mineral supplements at mealtime, they will react to produce mineral ascorbate and Hydrochloride, which are the optimal combination to digest and absorb these vitamins and minerals.
  • Maintain a diet with a low glycemic index, low fat, and low allergies.
  • Increase your intake of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids
  • Increase probiotic consumption either through eating yogurt or taking a probiotic supplement. This will greatly balance bacteria and yeast levels in the stomach and intestines.
  • Many herbs and oils help maintain healthy bacteria levels such as garlic, oregano oil, grapefruit seed oil, peppermint oil, and others.
  • Consume ginger and/or ginger tea. Ginger is a natural digestive aid and reduces bloating.
  • Avoid drinking ice cold water before, during, or right after a meal because it slows HCl production.
  • Avoid Alcohol, excess caffeine, refined carbs, processed foods, MSG, wheat protein, hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, fish with high mercury levels, bottom-feeder seafood, refined sugar, and artificial sweeteners.

    Some other simple lifestyle recommendations are:

    • Eat smaller meals more regularly.
    • Chew your meals thoroughly.
    • Remain sitting up for a least 45 minutes after eating to reduce the occurrence of acid being churned up into the esophagus and to allow gravity to play its part.
    • Take multivitamins that include B3 and B12 in case you do have a deficiency caused by the hypochlorhydria.


    I mean it's like a vicious cycle, eat a SAD diet and your body will become sick and deficient, then you won't produce stomach acid correctly, now because you aren't producing stomach acid well, you aren't digesting well and you are becoming even more and more deficient even if you try and eat healthy you may not be absorbing things correctly cause your stomach acid needs a jump start or your body needs a really long time to heal without the jump start.

    I mean I've heard of ancient cultures knowing to eat nasty herbs when sick, believing they heal you...cause they do, producing stomach acid and cleansing!

    From another website...I have basically all these symptoms. Serious bloating, eating a very tiny meal and feeling full all day! That is a problem!

    Low Gastric Acid

    The condition of low stomach acid can give rise to numerous uncomfortable and irritating symptoms. Insufficiency of acid in the stomach leads to indigestion. Since, a good amount of broken food is left in the stomach, bacteria and other micro-organisms start growing in number. This leads to an imbalance of probiotics and harmful bacteria, which in turn hinders your body's ability to absorb nutrients. In this way, low gastric acid does not allow the nutrients to get absorbed by your body, hence there occurs a deficiency of nutrients in spite of eating healthy food in good amount. Long-term deficiency of nutrients can cause more serious health issues, mostly arising from weak immune system. All other symptoms that are associated with low stomach acid arise due to the presence of undigested foods in the stomach. Following are some of them:

So, I'm really too lazy right now to write everything I've done, but i've done A LOT! since I was 14, I'm now 19. I have realized that products aren't always the best for skin, even if they are made for skin!

I only use castor oil in my hair now, cause I don't trust any hair product that is a leave in or even olive oil these days for skin or eating.

I stopped using YES products, which are supposed to be natural, but really leave my skin waxy and clog my pores up causing deep acne.

Constipation totes causes acne, and an awful cycle of toxins, inflammation and acne. Also, congested organs, liver and kidneys, so liver flushing works for some, but It's disgusting.

Not enough vitamins and minerals effect skin production and insulin production (I take chromium, magnesium, and green pastures fermented cod liver oil for this).

I make sure I drink a lot of water throughout the day and don't just guzzle water in huge amounts, unless upon waking or before bed to flush toxins.

I stopped taking any Walmart brand multivitamins with iodine or any b vitamins over 50 percent. I take a kid's gummy. I dunno why but Walmart fish oils are probs rancid and the concentration of vitamins just doesn't work for my body. I think b vitamins are really tricky and any dose over 20% daily value is iffy cause everyone's daily value and calorie intake is diff.

I just made an apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, garbanzo bean flower, and cinnamon scrub which smelled divine, and unclogged my pores from my awful YES to Carrots product which I just threw away, and smoothed my skin.

My keratosis pilaris has greatly improved since 8 days ago when I started the Cod Liver Oil, and the scrub was nice on it as-well. I have KP on the backs of my arms, thighs, and even my BUTT!

I eat paleo, but do eat soaked grains and legumes, I even soak brown rice. I really don't eat grains often at all though! I eat lots of salad, fish, fruit (limited), veggies, green smoothies, coconut curries. I'm gluten, dairy, soy, and basically corn free

I take very expensive high quality probiotics

I fell in love with my boyfriend in January, met him in the caribbean Island of Tobago, which is where i am from, and I am finally going to get to see him in 2 weeks! He and all his family have perfect skin. I don't want to be embarrassed around him. I've managed to get my skin kind-of controllable, especially when I first met him. We Skype everyday, and I just wanna feel like I deserve him!
