Anything and everything that is going on with MY acne prone skin.

The redness on my face has gone down grately. I have stuck to my plan this whole time but my acne isn't any better at this point. I will stick with what I'm doing a while longer though. We will see what happens.

I threw out my last pack. I realized my acne started getting worse after I started taking it. Plus I get really really bad migraines from it.

So hopefully my last little bit of acne will clear. It got a little bit worse these past few days... It sucks. :) I got 4 HUGE whiteheads and the HURT so so so bad. ;) I'm hoping in the next few weeks they will e completely gone.

So, I was talking about 'Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment' in an earlier blog and I have an update on my experiences with it.

It works fantastically! For example(s):

A few days ago I had a REALLY painful pimple start to emerge yesterday when I woke up it was completely gone.

Yesterday, I had a HUGE whitehead. Today it is a teeny-tiny red bump, that will most likely be gone tomorrow.

Also, It cleaned out the few difficult blackheads on my nose.

It dose dry out your skin pretty good though. But, after exfoliating and applying moisturizer in the morning my face is good-to-go (other than the rest of the acne I an trying to clear up).

First I got 'Olay Warming Deep Purifying Cleanser'. It is AMAZING! After ONE time my skin is so clean and smooooooth and I didn't even put moisturizer on. It also has little beads in it that exfoliate just enough and the warming part is so nice! I LOVE this product!

I also got 'Nuetrogena Acne Stress Control' to use in the morning between my washings and moisturizing. I cleansed the back of my hand, put on the stress control then applied my moisturizer about an hour ago. My hand is soooo soft! Haha.

So my regimen now is:

1.) Olay Daily Facials- Combination/Oily

2.) Nuetrogena Acne Stress Control

3.) Olay Complete UV Defense Moisture Lotion SPF 15- Normal

1.) Olay Daily Facials- Combination/Oily (replaced once a week by: Olay Warming Deep Purifying Cleanser)

2.) Nuetrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment

waiting for my 'Bioré Pore Strips' on my nose and chin to dry (which work very nicely in case you were wondering) so I can pull them off and look at all the black heads! For some reason it's an amazing thing to study your strips after you pull them off your face... Dose anyone other than me feel like that?

Anyways, I have been a very lazy ballerina and I have decided I'm going to start working out more often. I'm going to try to work out 5 days a week. A lot of people suggest exercise helps reduce stress that leads to breakouts. Also, it opens up pores and if I wash directly after I will get a lot more out of it. Plus, I need to get back into shape for ballet and it will help my image which helps my self esteem.

I have also been trying to eat a lot more fruits and veggies and drinking more water. It's going pretty good so far. I just need to lower my sugar/junk food consumption a little more. I'm off to a good start though. :)

I just wanted to share with anyone who was willing to read. ;)

An Update.

Well, the sulfur was giving the sides of my nose a slight discoloration. (I think I was using it too much) But, I decided I would try out the 'Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment'. I used it once before, I don't remember why I didn't use it after that but, It has been working fairly well and it hasn't dried out my skin like most people say it will. Though, I've only been using it for about 2 days consistently.

It is being put to the test by me right now actually. I can feel a really painful pimple coming up so I put a little extra on that area BEFORE the pimple forms. We will see how it goes...

I'll keep you posted.

First Day...

I have been suffering from light to moderate acne, located mostly on my chin and the sides of my nose, for about 4 years now. No mater what I do my acne has only increased in severity over the past fer years. My family is prone to very severe acne and I would like to put a stop to mine before it worsens even more. I have found a few products I like that I started trying about a month ago. Although I haven't been very consistent with them, I have noticed they are working out very nicely.

-As a facial cleanser I use is 'Olay Daily Facials Lathering Cleansing Cloths'. I use this product morning and night to exfoliate and cleanse my entire face.

-After cleansing in the morning, I apply a generous amount of 'Olay Complete All Day UV Moisture Lotion'. This product dose not clog pores and gives just the right amount of moister for my slightly oily skin.

-Since my skin dose not take to peroxide very well I prefer to use, 'Pomada de Azufre', a sulfur creme that I leave on my chin and nose every other night after only cleansing my entire face.

-For my hair; Since many hair products contribute to the breakouts along my hairline, I use Garnier Fructice shampoo & conditioner

I rarely ever touch my face and when I do I ALWAYS wash my hands before. Also, I try to keep my hair out of my face as much as possible. I sanitize my glasses (which I only wear on occasion) and my cell phone (that I usually hold at a distance from my face).

Today is the day I will officially start on this plan, and keep consistent with it. I will be posting new pictures of my progress in my gallery every week around the same time until my acne is completely healed.
