This post includes all updates in this thread. Baseline Photographs I've had a lot of treatments done prior to starting this journal - 4 mixto CO2 laser treatments, 10+ micro needling sessions, juvederm (2 vials), 2 venice viva, cooltouch, and 2 spot subcisions. Today I know those treatments were more or less a waste of time and money. These baseline pictures were taken many months after I had those treatments. Check out how screwed up my stool is. I just sent another sample off last week to see if my treatment did anything besides make me feel like crap. Oh and wanted to ask if anyone gets sensitive skin that hurts to touch but there is no rash or visual sign of anything? I have gotten it on my arm sometimes but right now its on both my arms and my waist/groin area.

As Miss Mimic mentioned before, Dermablend is great and their collab with Vichy is even better. https://www.vichy.co.uk/dermablend-fluid-corrective-foundation-16hr The foundation is totally non-comedogenic, lasts like the whole day, has an SPF 35 and moisturizes your skin. Also, use a moisturizer and primer before, it really helps with not looking dry and flaky.

Throughout the 15 years of intermittent research into my Accutane sides I've gotten my hopes up many times thinking I'd finally figured it all out... only to discover I'd hit another dead end. However, I believe I may have finally identified a major element of my permanent Accutane issues: Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMPs). Specifically MMP-2 & MMP-9. But mostly 9. It's my belief that ever since I took Accutane my levels of MMP-9 have been increased. I don't know if there's somethin

Don't you love it when people who just had mild acne or none at all say to you it is not that bad of a problem. Damn i put up with this shit for 30 years going to the derm. I will never be the same mentally and socially since my acne started breaking out at age 14. I wish i could trade my problem with those people and in 30 years could tell them....it's not that bad! I have been a recluse most of my life outside of working.

Sorry for the late reply, I just saw this. Unfortunately, 5 months of Accutane has not improved the bumps at all. If anything I have more at the corners of my mouth but I think those are different than the ones in the middle of the chin. They can come and go unlike the others. Possibly caused by toothpastes but not sure so trying out more natural brands. I will say that I have been on lower doses of Accutane. I weigh 52kg and you are supposed to take 1mg per kg of weight. I started on 10mg

Hello, I suffered with the scars sometime during high school and it has been almost a decade since. I promised to give back to this forum if I ever got better because I had spent so much time researching on here when I was suffering. I never thought I would get over it, but I did. I kept putting off this promise even though I've been good for years now, but now I'm combatting another life obstacle, so maybe it is a sign to pay my dues. I have tried a plethora of things from VI peels, microdermab

I guess this is why we usually stay up in our rooms all day to keep all this from happening.
