Thanks =) Yeah... all this picture taking, and I've noticed I have huge eyes.. LOL

Well the way I look at it you have to have a good attitude... I mean sure there are plenty of days that I break down from being upset and be a pansy and cry about it and stuff, but really worrying about it isn't going to do any good... we're going to BATTLE!! and we're going to WIN!!! lol

Well, I'm sure they could if they could... but they can't really either. haha oh well. I will win this war! I'm optimistic and even though the regimen hasn't made a visual difference yet I'm tricking myself into thinking it has! it has!! ooo!!! ;)

i found the best thing for my back is not to drink alcohol or smoke, wash it once a day while in the shower or bath, eat 5 pieces of fruit a day and rub tea tree oil on the bigger more painful spots.

for my face wash it twice a day and try and not touch the spots and dont eat greasy foods. the 5 pieces of fruit and veg are the most important, i found they really helped me out alot!

Hope it goes well for you any way

Hi star! I think you have an incredible outlook...and everything's going to turn out just fine for you!! :D You're very beautiful, keep thinking positive. Stick with the regimen for your face (since you can't go to a derm at the moment). Don't give up, follow the regimen religiously, and keep posting pics of your progress. I'm sure you're going to be a success story! ;)

Hey, have you tried Neutrogena Body Scrub? Try that with a loofah and let it sit on your skin for about a minute then rinse. It worked well for me. I feel you need something to exfoliate well and the scrubby beads and loofah (oh and Salicylic acid) will do it. Let me know if you tried it, Its helped my body acne greatly! I seem to get it worse doing that time of the month though... good luck if you try it!

Yeah, I have tried it, I've tried just about every product out there, lol. I've just recently started using an "exfoliation" brush (like the brush brush kind) and I'm gonna see if that helps. Thanks for the advice though!

I know this may be long winded, but if your using BP you should know about this.

    Benzac Indications

Benzac is used to treat acne cases.

    Benzac Warnings/Precautions

Benzac should not be used on sunburned, wind burned, dry, chapped, or irritated skin. It should not be applied on wounds or on areas with eczema. Allow these conditions to heal prior to using Benzac as it can cause further complications.

Nursing mothers are also suggested to see their doctor prior to using this medication as it is not known if Benzac passes into breast milk.

    Benzac Intake Instructions

This medicament must be taken exactly as directed by your physician. Follow instructions in the label carefully. If anything appears unclear to you, have a certified medical person give further explanation.

Below is the basics of how Benzac is used:

Clean and dry area to be applied.

    Shake lotion well before use.

Apply Benzac to the affected area. Avoid the eyes, inside of the nose or mouth, lips, and broken skin to prevent irritation. If you happen to have accidentally put medication in those areas, just rinse it off with water.

Do not cover the area treated with Benzac unless directed by your doctor, as it can be harmful if too much medicine is absorbed by the body.

Benzac is usually applied one to three (1-3) times a day. However, should you experience painful burning, dryness or any irritation, see your doctor. Frequency of application may be reduced in this case.

Do not discontinue use of Benzac if results are not seen right away. It may take few weeks to see its effects.

    Benzac Missed Dose

If you happen to miss a dose, apply as soon as you remember as long as it is not almost time for the next dose. Otherwise, skip it and proceed with the next scheduled application.

    Benzac Overdose

Over dosage of Benzac is unlikely to happen. However, should you suspect an over dosage situation or has accidentally ingested the medicine, phone an emergency room or poison control left.

You may experience burning, s tinging, tingling, itching, redness, dryness, peeling or other possible irritations while using Benzac. If these happen to be intolerable, see your doctor. Frequency of application may have to be reduced.

For other side effects not indicated that may be particularly causing discomfort, inform your physician.

    Benzac Drug Interactions

Avoid using Benzac if you are under the treatment of tretinoin (Altinac, Avita, Renova, Retin-A) as this may lead to skin irritation.

Refrain from using harsh, abrasive, or irrita ting cleansers, perfumes, or cosmetics, or other topical products on the applied area at the same time unless directed by your doctor, as this may intervene the activity of Benzac.

Do not combine sunscreen containing PABA and benzoyl peroxide as it can lead to temporary skin discoloration.

hello there..i had the same problem when i was in my senior year in highschool, that started when i was a junior...i had a hard time back then becuase i can't wear sleeveless blouses, you know, clothes that show some skin..i tried using different scrubs, lotions,..now, it's all dried, only scars left..i tried using sulfur, back in college, it worked for a while..i tried using the regimen(though i used clearasil for that), and it quite worked..i use a loofah when taking bath, and an anti-bacterial soap(i avoid using moisturizing ones, because i have oily skin)..i still get bumps in my back, and i'm planning to use the neutrogena body scrub too..

remember, you are not alone in this fight.
