Close Ups.Present Time Novemeber 22 2005. SCARY

Unbelieveably my acne has gone from bad to worse, I don't know what to do anymore, nothing ever works, not even the regimen. Up close my face looks monstrous, and in daylight my red marks are horrible.

I tried to go on accutane, but the doctor says I have to be 18, and Im only 17.

Tell me what you think!please!

it doesn't look like you have much active acne in these pictures. have you tried daily exfoliating?

a long time ago, i tried mederma, and i've also tried vitamin e. i'm sure they are great for some people, but they made things worse for me. the mederma really made me itch, too! everyone is different, though..

You need to go to a dermatologist. Your acne is serious and looks like it may be causing some permanent scarring. Your going to need prescription medicine to deal with it effectively.

It sounds like you came here for some good advice on dealing with your acne. So here is the best you're going to get:

Step 1: Go to a dermatologist.

    Step 2: Request Accutane.

Yes it is moderate severe acne, but what i have left is mostly red marks , and alot of them. Im gonna go see a derma next month hopefully they can give me accutane. But i have to be 18 ;)

I'm pretty sure the derm/doctor can give you a consent form that your parents can sign on your behalf so you can get accutane... I wouldn't take no for an answer tell him about the social/mental/physical impact that acne is having on you.
