Day 15

Day 15

Earlier this week my skin was becoming extremely dry especially around my eyes. I looked at Dan's instructions again with particular attention to the amount of BP to use when starting out (I had watched Dan's video but hadn't read "How much BP to use"). I was using a full finger of Clear Skin Regimen BP Gel for each quadrant of my face once a day at night i.e. lower/chin, left cheek, right cheek, forehead. I'm now using half that and the dryness has receded comfortably. My skin isn't red, irritated, itching, peeling so I'm comfortable at the current level of 2 fingers of BP per night. According to plan I'll gradually build up and eventually apply BP twice a day.

I began using Mary Kay 5% BP a week before I began taking pictures so It's been about 4 weeks since I stopped using several other products and 3 weeks since I began using only Purpose, Mary Kay 5% BP and a moisturizer, and 15 days since I began using Purpose, Clear Skin Regimen BP Gel, and a moisturizer. I haven't seen any reduction in my acne but it's still early in the regimen. I have seen in the past 2-3 days a few new pimples appear on my right cheek and forehead but I'll leave them alone and I'm sure eventually they'll go away.

    You were using a full finger on each area of your face? Dear, how is your face still holding all together? p;

    I don't know if you use a moisturizer for your eyes but I think you should.. one just because it's good for you, and because a lot of users have found if they apply moisturizer right after they cleanse, let it absorb, and then apply the BP it tends to shield the eye area from drying out.

    You don't have to go out, and spend a lot of money on an eye moisturizer (unless you just want to). Loreal makes good ones for under fifteen, and some people have reccommended Neutrogena.
