Alright, the end of week 2! So, I cheated on Sunday...I was doing so well with the regimen, but the dry flaky skin was getting worse. I wanted to look nice for church on Sunday, so that morning I took a washcloth and exfoliated all that skin off. Then, I skipped the Benzoyl Peroxide and went straight to the moisturizer. I didn't want my skin to peel and my makeup to look horrible that day. Consequently, that was probably the reason I got a few, or several, new breakouts by the end of the day. I've ordered the AHA and it will be here by the end of the week..I need something to take care of my peeling skin. However, I'm noticing today that it's not so bad. My skin wasn't as tight and dry after washing tonight then it has been this past week. Hopefully my skin is adjusting to it by now. I'm also gently popping any white zits, like acne.org says is okay to do. I popped one on my forehead, right above my nose, on week 1 and it's healing well! The scar is fading. And for the record, I want to point out that the cluster of acne on my right cheek has been there for several years. I don't even remember the last time I didn't have to cover that up with makeup. They have ALWAYS stuck around. However, I'm noticing that even though my acne is still visible, it is not protruding as much. My skin is smoother. Looking forward to the next few weeks and more improvement!
